I think Jake's been feeling a little down recently.
He didn't smile as much as he used to, and as the days passed, it was as if he was dreading of something that was yet to come.
I didn't want to question anything though, maybe since I've already dug in too deep into his personal life.
But still, I wished he would have told me. I wanted to help him with all I could, but I didn't even know what was the cause.
I sighed as I opened up my messages and scrolled through every one of them. Right then, I saw Jake online, and my heart skipped a beat.
Oh right, I have these feelings too.
I should really tell him soon....scratch that I should tell him now. Right when he needs comforting. Maybe me being by his side would make him feel better.
That's if he accepts your confession.
I shook my head. Let's not get there, that stuff will come later.
I pressed on our private chat and typed in a simple, 'hi!' but immediately deleted it.
Too basic? Yeah.
I tried, 'what's up pup' but cringed to myself the second I finished typing it and deleted it away.
After about an eternity, I finally came up with something. I typed it in slowly, a bit worried about the name I'm using but pressed, 'send' without hesitation.

I held my breath as under his profile showed, 'typing' signalling he was about to respond.

Letting out a sigh, I proceeded to reply.

When he didn't respond immediately, I began to panic slightly thinking I had gone overboard. But his answer made me smile and let out a slow breath.

The moment I hit 'send', I threw my phone onto my bed, not caring less that it was about to fall off the edge, and did a good 30 minute shower. I started picking out clothes that I thought would fit the vibe, and checked myself out in everything for the next hour.
I wore a black button up shirt, hair parted into two as it stayed on my forehead. Feeling a little extra, I decided to wear my silver glasses that perched on my nose, setting a nice vibe. I would go all on out for anything like this, and if I was going to confess, it needed to be perfect.
