"Hah! What did I tell you?!" Jungwon's voice echoed around the empty house and Jake urgently tried to shush him.

"Jungwon! He's right there," Jake emphasised, gesturing to the door, which obviously Jungwon couldn't see. He sighed and headed over to the sofa where he flopped on, mumbling, "but I'll probably never get a chance to even say 'good morning'."

"What are you talking about? You are the most flirtiest person out of all of us!" Jungwon defended, and Jake swayed his gaze at him lazily.

Jungwon scoffed. "Fine, used to be. And Sunoo took away all your magic after learning your ways, yeah whatever," Jake chuckled hearing the ridiculous words come out of his mouth.

I was about to reply back what seemed like the snappiest comeback, when a soft knocked came from the door. I jumped, scrambling to catch my phone as I bounced it in my hands from the shock. Luckily, it didn't fall to the ground and make an awful lot of noise.

"Hold on a second!" I shouted and then looked down at the screen, "I need to go. Talk later."
Before Jungwon could reply, I hung up, and slipped my phone into my pocket as I strided over to the door.

Slowly, I opened it, and peeked outside, only to have my heart pounding louder as cafe cutie stood in front of my apartment door.

His eyes found mine, and something in them glinted recognition.

"Hi," he greeted.

I straightened my back and opened the door slightly wider, ajar at most, and greeted back, "uh, hey."

"You're the guy from the cafe, aren't you?" He asked, and the question had my stomach turning.

"Mhm..sorry about earlier. I didn't see where I was going."

A small grin appeared on his lips, and that just made him look better and goddamn cuter. I sucked in a breath as he studied me, before putting out his hand.

"I'm Lee Heeseung, or you can just call me Heeseung. And it seems like I'm your new neighbour!" He explained, grinning even wider.

A smile kept creeping up to lips, but I forced it down and made sure my expression was neutral. "Oh! That's nice....I'm Jake by the way."

"Nice to meet you, Jake," Heeseung said as he clasped my hand and shook it. The way my name came out of his mouth made my pulse race, and I didn't even know this guy.

"Are you Korean? Jake doesn't seem like a common name here," he started asking, and the question took me by surprise.

"Uh, yeah, I am," I answered, "I'm half Australian actually. And I mostly grew up there, so I have 'Jake' as my English name. My Korean name is Jaeyun though." The words left before I could stop them, and I almost slapped a palm over my mouth.

I never revealed my Korean name to anyone besides my close friends and family. Even my exes never knew I had a Korean name. But now, me saying it to a complete stranger I met about 1 and half hours ago? I was seriously losing my mind.

Heeseung perked up at my sudden confession. "Wow, must be nice being half Australian! And Jaeyun...that's a pretty name."

Unconsciously, my cheeks turn tinted pink at the compliment, and Heeseung only smiled before picking up a box from outside his door.
I looked away, trying to calm down my blush, but his words keep repeating in my head.
