Okay, let's do this.
My gun was filled to the brim, and there was even small droplets of waters dripping from the capsule, getting my fingers wet.
But I didn't care, now my senses were full on alert. Any moment now, I could be soaked from head to toe.
Another reason why I didn't bathe like I usually do the moment I wake up.
I should start making that my usual routine if that's how we're living for now.
I needed to go and get breakfast, which I realised I didn't have in my apartment and needed from the convient store. But then I remembered about Heeseung's neighbour thing, and I immediately took out my gun.
Creaking my door open, I thought of all the possible embarrassing things that could happen if Heeseung happened to not be there, and I almost doubted myself.
No. You made a promise. Live in the moment. It'll fun. So what if it's embarrassing?
That's right. It won't be. After all, nobody would see us anyway, we'll all the way at the end of the hallway.
I made the door slightly ajar so a tiny gap was visible. I peeked through it with one eye, and tried looking across my door.It was silent, and there seemed like no one was outside. Swiftly, I tried tap the sides of my door, in case he was hiding against the wall.
I took in a deep breath. It was now or never, time to start squirting the shit our of this heavy thing.
I swung open the door, it's creaking noise loud and clear for Heeseung to also swing open his, and we're both looking at each other from our doorways, either one waiting to pounce."Not in the house," he said, and I nodded.
Then everything was chaos. The moment I took the first step out of my apartment, water comes my way and I'm being squirted all over. My fingers immediately start pressing on the trigger of my own gun as I aimed at my opponent, hitting some very fragile spots.
It was a wet and laughing mess. The floor had puddles of water here and there, and Heeseung and I kept on squirting as our laughs bounced off the walls, and it was the first time I felt myself smile this widely.
Suddenly, water stops coming from the other end, and I finally look up to see a surrendered Heeseung, his gun on the floor as he raised his hands in the air. "I'm out! You win this one!"
My smile became even wider. Wow, I actually won something at the first try.
Heeseung seemed to be waiting for me to finish him off, but I just chuckled and shook my head, setting down my own gun against the wall inside my apartment, and headed over to him.
I suddenly realised how different he looked from yesterday. Instead of neatly, styled hair; his dark, fluffy poof of softness was all over, spiking a bit here and there. He even looked more natural, with his morning attire, hoodie and sweatpants.
"Come on, I'll call this a tie since technically I've never done this before," I told him, and he scoffed from where he was. Heeseung put back his own gun and stuffed his hands in his pockets. "Sure, if that's what you want. Are you heading somewhere?"
I pursed my lips. "Um, to get breakfast because I'm broke and don't know how to cook?"
His eyes lit up. "Oh, wait, me too! Do you want to go together?"
My eyebrows rose as my breathing slowed, taking in his question. "Oh..really? But I don't smell that good-"
His nose comes close to my head, whiffing in the shampoo of my hair from last night. I felt his breath brushing the temple of my head, and took in a slow breath. Then he leaned back, shrugging. "You don't smell that bad. What shampoo do you use? It smells great!"
