"Do you want to take a shower before you talk to everyone, Dear?" my grandmother asked and raised an eyebrow in question while she glanced at me from the corner of her eye.

I was about to nod but paused before I shook my head with a small grimace on my face. "No," I said before I cleared my throat and shifted ever so slightly, trying to get comfortable but still on my grandmother because I knew that I wasn't steady on my own two feet.

I closed my eyes before I opened them and took a deep breath, releasing it with a small whoosh and trying but failing to relax. "I will talk to everyone, take a shower, and then get more information because I need to get that stuff done before I go to bed."

My grandmother pressed her lips into a thin line, and worry flashed through her eyes when she heard that I wouldn't fall asleep as soon as I was done with my shower. "Are you sure that you don't want to fall asleep after your shower, Dear?" she asked and raised the eyebrow higher in question. "I mean, it has been a long and eventful day for you, and you need the rest."

I rolled my eyes and snorted, pressing my lips into a thin line. "I know that it has been a long and eventful day, but it's not over yet, Grams," I said and shook my head. "I want to get this done and if members of my other group want to come and talk, then they are able to, but please come in from the back and make sure that you aren't seen."

'Awww, she said please,' Corey said with a small squeal in his voice, and I rolled my eyes and scowled, pressing my lips into a thinner line. She snickered before she grew serious, mentally bowing. 'We are on our way, Alpha, and we will be at the house soon.'

'Don't call me Alpha,' I threatened with bared teeth, earning a small snicker from the female. 'Is Anthony with you?' I bit back a tired sigh and closed my eyes, leaning my head closer to my grandmother's shoulder, and my grandmother picked up her pace so that we could be in the living room before either my grandmother dropped me or before I passed out and would need her to carry me fully, which wouldn't be comfortable for either of us.

'Yes,' Anthony said, and his voice was traced with guilt and pain. He cleared his throat and licked his lips. 'I am still with Corey, and I will be at the meeting with you all, too. Are you ok?'

'For now,' I said and mentally nodded with a tired sigh because I had no idea when I would actually be ok. 'My beast is not under his control, and she is able to take it off of me if it gets too... much for us and someone's life is on the line.'

'And what about you?' Anthony asked, and he mentally raised an eyebrow in question. 'What if it is your life that is on the line? You know that your father would kill us if something bad happens to you.'

I bit back a small snort and rolled my eyes, pressing my lips into a thin line. 'He would kill me too,' I said sarcastically. I cleared my throat and licked my lips, biting back a tired sigh while I grew serious. 'Have you told him what had happened?' I asked and mentally raised an eyebrow in question.

'Yes,' Anthony replied and mentally nodded before he cleared his throat again, growing more serious but also more hesitant because he knew how much I hated them telling him anything second handedly. 'You should be expecting a call from him soon,' he said.

Oh, Goddess please no.

I bit back a small growl and moved a hand through my hair across my face, rolling my eyes. I didn't say a word, not caring that my father knew what had happened and hoped that he wouldn't intervene, putting the life of him and my twin brothers on the line for the sake of my own.

'We'll make sure that he doesn't do anything stupid,' Corey soothed as if she knew what I was thinking. 'He won't do anything until you tell him that it is safe to do so. Also, we are in the living room waiting for you both.'
