The sun had just begun to rise over the horizon, casting a soft golden glow into the cabin as Charlie made her way down the hallway. She was up early, excited for another day on the cruise and eager to gather everyone for breakfast. As she approached the door to Alastor and Lucifer's room, she paused for a moment, sensing a peaceful energy emanating from within.

Curiosity got the better of her, and she quietly pushed the door open, not prepared for the sight that greeted her. There, nestled together under the covers, were Alastor and Lucifer, entwined in each other's arms, their expressions serene and content. The sight struck Charlie like a bolt of lightning, a mixture of surprise and joy flooding her heart.

She took a step back, her breath catching in her throat. For a moment, she stood there in awe, feeling a warmth wash over her. This was her dad, who had spent so long alone after Lilith's departure, finally finding solace in someone. And Alastor, the ever-energetic Radio Demon, who had so desperately needed a sense of purpose, now appeared to have found it in this unexpected bond.

Overwhelmed with emotion, Charlie quickly fished her phone out of her pocket and snapped a quick photo, wanting to capture this tender moment before it disappeared. A smile crept across her face, knowing that this was something special—something that could blossom into a beautiful relationship.

After a few seconds, she knew she had to respect their privacy. With a final glance at the pair, she quietly stepped back and shut the door, her heart feeling lighter as she turned away.

She stood outside for a moment, gathering her thoughts before knocking softly on the door. "Hey, sleepyheads! Time to wake up for breakfast!" she called cheerfully, pretending she hadn't just witnessed something that felt like a secret treasure.

Inside the room, Alastor stirred first, blinking groggily as the sound of Charlie's voice broke through the haze of sleep. He glanced down at Lucifer, who was still nestled against him, his expression peaceful. Alastor couldn't help but smile, feeling a warmth in his chest at the sight.

"Lucifer, love, it seems we have an audience," he murmured playfully, giving Lucifer a gentle nudge.

Lucifer groaned softly, stretching before blinking up at Alastor, confusion clouding his features as he registered the morning light and the commotion outside. "Huh? What's going on?"

"We've been summoned for breakfast," Alastor replied, his tone teasing yet affectionate.

Lucifer slowly sat up, running a hand through his disheveled hair and trying to shake off the remnants of sleep. "Charlie...?" he mumbled, glancing toward the door.

"Indeed," Alastor confirmed, a hint of amusement dancing in his eyes. "She's clearly eager to start the day."

With a sigh, Lucifer swung his legs over the edge of the bed, trying to gather his thoughts and process the warmth still lingering from the night before. "I hope she didn't see us like that," he said, suddenly feeling a wave of embarrassment wash over him.

Alastor smirked, leaning back against the headboard. "Let's just say we may have left an impression," he said, raising an eyebrow. "But I doubt she's upset. If anything, I suspect she's pleased."

Lucifer shot him a questioning look, his heart racing as he remembered how vulnerable he'd felt lying there with Alastor. "Pleased? Why would she be pleased?"

"Because, dear," Alastor replied, his tone warm, "this is what she has wanted for you. A connection. A companion. Someone to share your life with."

Lucifer opened his mouth to protest, but Alastor cut him off. "You can argue about it later. Right now, we should probably give her the courtesy of joining her for breakfast."

With that, they both stood, their previous closeness now fueling an unspoken bond as they prepared to face the day. The warmth of the morning sun poured into the room, igniting a spark of hope and possibility as they stepped toward the door—two demons ready to embrace whatever awaited them.
