Alastor's eyes sparkled with delight as he expertly rolled the joint between his fingers. "I knew you'd come around." He took a seat on one of the balcony chairs, gesturing for Lucifer to join him. "It's a perfect night for a little indulgence, don't you think?"

Lucifer settled into the chair across from him, still a bit taken aback by the unexpected turn of events. "I didn't picture you as the type to enjoy... this kind of thing."

"Oh, my dear Lucifer," Alastor said, his voice a teasing lilt. "There's so much you don't know about me. This just happens to be one of my little pleasures." With a flick of his thumb, he lit the joint, taking a slow, deliberate puff before holding it out toward Lucifer. "Your turn."

Lucifer took the joint with a mix of excitement and nervousness. He'd never smoked anything before, but the thought of sharing this moment with Alastor made him feel adventurous. He took a quick puff, unsure of what to expect, and immediately coughed, the smoke catching in his throat.

Alastor laughed heartily, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Ah, a rookie! Don't worry; it gets easier."

Coughing and laughing at himself, Lucifer took another, more cautious puff. The smoke filled his lungs, and he felt a warmth spreading through him, followed by a wave of relaxation. "Wow, okay, I can see why you enjoy this," he admitted, passing the joint back to Alastor.

"See? I knew you'd appreciate it," Alastor said, taking a long drag himself, savoring the moment. He exhaled a plume of smoke that mingled with the cool night air, creating a hazy atmosphere around them.

They spent the next few minutes in comfortable silence, watching the stars twinkle overhead and listening to the gentle sound of the ocean waves lapping against the ship. Alastor leaned back in his chair, looking at Lucifer with an expression that was almost contemplative.

"You know," Alastor began, his voice softening, "I didn't expect to find someone like you here. I mean, you've changed so much since we first met. It's refreshing."

Lucifer felt his cheeks heat slightly at the compliment. "I guess it's been a journey for both of us," he replied, a hint of vulnerability creeping into his voice. "But I never thought I'd be sitting here, sharing a moment like this with you."

Alastor smirked, tilting his head. "Aren't you glad we're here together? Just the two of us?"

Lucifer nodded, feeling the warmth of the joint still coursing through him. "Definitely. I mean, it's... nice. I like it."

As the night went on, they took turns with the joint, the conversation becoming more relaxed and playful. They talked about their pasts, their dreams, and even exchanged silly anecdotes from their time in Hell. With every shared laugh and glance, Lucifer felt the walls he had built around himself crumbling further, revealing a connection he hadn't anticipated.

After a while, Alastor leaned closer, his voice lowering conspiratorially. "I have to say, you look quite cute when you're relaxed like this, dear."

Lucifer chuckled, feeling his heart race at the compliment. "You're just saying that because of the weed."

"No, I genuinely mean it," Alastor replied, his eyes sparkling mischievously. "But it doesn't hurt that you're a bit more... open tonight."

Lucifer felt a rush of warmth at the intimacy of the moment, a mix of affection and excitement swirling inside him. "Well, I'm glad you brought this little surprise. I needed it."

Alastor smirked, his gaze lingering on Lucifer's face. "Just wait until I show you more of my surprises."
