After breakfast, Alastor carefully took the new photo frame that Charlie had given them and placed it proudly in the parlor. It found its home on the table next to the TV, where it could be admired easily by anyone who passed through. He adjusted it slightly, making sure the collage of their moments together was perfectly angled.
"There," he said softly, stepping back to admire the display. "A reminder of what we've got."
Lucifer, watching from the couch, smiled warmly. "It's perfect. Thank you, Charlie, again."
Alastor nodded, a satisfied look on his face. He turned to Lucifer, wiping his hands off on his pants. "I've got lunch with Rosie today. She actually asked if you wanted to join us."
Lucifer raised an eyebrow, leaning back on the couch with an amused smile. "Did she now? How much convincing did it take for her to want me along?"
Alastor chuckled. "Not as much as you think. She's taken quite a liking to you, dear."
Lucifer hummed thoughtfully. "Well, if Rosie wants me there, who am I to decline such an invitation?" He stretched, standing up and walking over to Alastor. "I'd love to come. It'll be nice to catch up with her."
Alastor smiled, pleased. "Wonderful. No pressure, of course, but I'm sure it'll be an interesting lunch." He gave Lucifer a playful nudge. "Besides, I wouldn't want to leave you all alone here to sulk."
Lucifer chuckled, rolling his eyes. "Sulk? Please, I'm way too busy for that."
"Busy playing your forest animal game, I'm sure," Alastor teased, grinning.
Lucifer leaned in, giving Alastor a quick kiss. "It's called relaxation, darling."
Alastor smirked, brushing off the light teasing. "Well, let's get ready then. Rosie doesn't like to be kept waiting."
