Lucifer and Alastor continued down the hall, their laughter echoing in the quiet corridors of the cruise ship. The atmosphere was charged with a lightness that made Lucifer feel almost giddy.

"Alright, snack expedition!" Alastor declared dramatically, throwing his arms wide as if he were about to give a grand speech. "What do we want? Chips? Candy? Perhaps some exotic fruit? The world is our oyster, dear!"

Lucifer grinned, enjoying the playful energy. "I'm definitely in the mood for something salty. Maybe chips or popcorn?"

"Ah, a classic choice!" Alastor nodded, clearly relishing the banter. "But let's not overlook the candy aisle. One must always indulge in sweets, especially late at night."

As they approached the snack bar, the smell of popcorn wafted through the air, making Lucifer's stomach growl again. "That sounds amazing," he admitted. "Let's do both!"

They reached the small snack station, which had an assortment of treats lined up. Lucifer's eyes widened in delight as he spotted bags of chips, jars of candy, and a huge popcorn machine, freshly popping kernels. "This is a treasure trove!"

Alastor leaned over the counter, scanning the options with a gleam in his eye. "I'll grab the popcorn if you want to handle the chips," he suggested, a mischievous glint in his eye.

"Deal!" Lucifer replied, his excitement bubbling over. He quickly grabbed a couple of bags of chips while Alastor filled a large bowl with buttery popcorn.

As they settled at a nearby table, Alastor expertly poured the popcorn into a bowl and leaned back, an air of satisfaction surrounding him. "Now this is what I call a feast!"

Lucifer couldn't help but laugh, his earlier nervousness forgotten. He opened one of the bags of chips and offered it to Alastor. "Here, have some! I have a feeling you're going to love these."

Alastor took a handful of chips, crunching them with a satisfied expression. "Delicious! It's like a party in my mouth."

As they munched on their snacks, Angel soon reappeared, a sly grin on his face. "Well, well, well! Look who's enjoying themselves," he teased, eyeing the snacks. "Did you find something good?"

"Just a little late-night munchies," Lucifer replied, a hint of mischief in his tone. "What about you?"

"I was just scouting around to see what trouble I could get into," Angel said, crossing his arms playfully. "And look at you two, all cozy and snacky! Just a little too sweet for my taste!"

Lucifer rolled his eyes with a smile, but before he could respond, Alastor leaned in, clearly enjoying the banter. "We could say the same about you, Angel! Always finding ways to stir up chaos, aren't you?"

Angel laughed, leaning against the counter. "Well, you know me! But I'd say you two are doing just fine in the chaos department, judging by those eyes."

Lucifer felt the heat creep up his cheeks again, though he masked it with a chuckle. "Alright, alright! Enough about my eyes! Let's just enjoy our snacks and the night."

They settled into a comfortable rhythm, joking and teasing each other as they shared the goodies. Laughter filled the air, mingling with the sound of the waves gently crashing against the ship.

As the snacks dwindled and the conversation continued, Lucifer felt a sense of warmth and camaraderie envelop him. It was moments like these that made him grateful for the unexpected bonds he had formed, especially with Alastor by his side.

"Here's to a memorable night," Alastor raised an imaginary glass, his eyes twinkling with mischief.

"To a memorable night!" Lucifer echoed, clinking his imaginary glass with Alastor's.

With that, they continued to eat, share stories, and let the night carry them further into the realms of laughter and friendship.
