Lucifer hurried down the hall, his robe trailing behind him as he rushed to find Charlie. His emotions surged—a mix of gratitude, pride, and love for his daughter. He found her in the living room, sipping coffee while flipping through a magazine.

Without hesitation, Lucifer crossed the room and wrapped his arms around her from behind, pulling her into a tight embrace. Charlie let out a small, surprised laugh.

"Whoa, Dad! What's this for?"

Lucifer buried his face in her hair, his voice choked with emotion. "You didn't have to do that, sweetheart. That was... perfect."

Charlie smiled, leaning back into his embrace. "Of course I had to. I'm proud of you two. You deserve it."

Lucifer held her tighter, unable to form words for a moment. Then, he pulled back, wiping the corner of his eye. "You're a gift, Charlie. We've been through so much, and you always find a way to remind me how lucky I am to have you."

Charlie grinned, looking up at her dad. "I guess I get it from you."

Lucifer chuckled softly, shaking his head as he kissed the top of her head. "No, dear. You're so much better."

Just then, Alastor appeared in the doorway, leaning against the frame, watching them with a warm smile. "I think someone's ready for breakfast," he mused, catching Lucifer's attention.

Lucifer smiled, a weight lifted from his heart. "Breakfast sounds perfect."

Alastor walked over, wrapping an arm around Lucifer's waist, and the three of them stood together, enjoying the calm of the morning before the day would inevitably unfold with its usual chaos.

Charlie gave her dad one last squeeze before pulling back. "I'm glad you liked the gift. But you two better take good care of each other—you know I'm watching."

Lucifer smirked playfully. "Don't worry. We will." He glanced at Alastor. "This one keeps me on my toes."

Alastor gave a mock bow. "It's a tough job, but someone has to do it."

Charlie laughed, shaking her head. "Alright, I'll let you two lovebirds enjoy your morning. I've got some things to do."

As Charlie walked out of the room, Lucifer turned to Alastor, taking his hand. "She really is something else."

Alastor nodded, squeezing Lucifer's hand. "She's one of a kind. And so are you."

Lucifer smiled softly, pulling Alastor closer. "I think we both got pretty lucky."

Alastor hummed in agreement. "We did indeed."

They shared a quiet moment, their foreheads resting against each other, basking in the warmth of their newfound connection.
