Lucifer and Alastor stayed wrapped up in each other's arms, the soft hum of the hotel around them fading into the background. Alastor's fingers gently stroked Lucifer's hair as the two basked in the quiet affection they shared. Every now and then, Lucifer would lean in for a soft kiss, his lips barely brushing against Alastor's, sending a gentle warmth through both of them.
Angel Dust, however, couldn't keep quiet for long. "I swear, if they get any more lovey-dovey, I'm gonna need a drink stronger than this," he quipped, holding up his glass before polishing off the rest of it.
"That's your third drink," Husk grumbled. "How much stronger are you tryin' to get?"
Angel winked and shrugged. "Hey, love makes a gal thirsty."
Across the room, Lucifer's ears caught bits of Angel's banter, and he pulled back just enough to glance over at the bar. "I think we've got an audience," he said, his voice soft and teasing.
Alastor grinned wickedly. "Let them watch, my dear. I do love an audience," he replied, his voice taking on a playful edge.
Lucifer chuckled, shaking his head slightly. "Always the performer."
Alastor's eyes gleamed as he pressed a kiss to the corner of Lucifer's mouth. "Only for you, *dear.*"
Angel leaned forward, clearly not wanting to miss a word of the conversation. "Aw, c'mon! Don't mind us. You know I live for the drama!"
Lucifer rolled his eyes but couldn't help but smile. "There's no drama here, Angel."
"Not yet," Angel shot back, waggling his eyebrows. "But if you two keep this up, you'll have half the hotel jealous."
Husk, clearly getting tired of the commentary, pushed his empty glass forward. "How about you cool it for a bit, Angel? Let 'em have their moment."
Angel pouted playfully. "Fine, fine. But only because it's cute seeing ol' Luci getting all snuggly."
Alastor, overhearing the nickname, gave Angel a sideways glance. "You do know how I feel about pet names, yes?" His voice was light, but there was a clear warning beneath the tone.
Angel blinked innocently. "What, 'Luci'? It's cute! Don't tell me *you* don't call him anything sweet."
Alastor smirked. "I assure you, *Angel,* what I call Lucifer is something only he gets to hear."
Lucifer, still half-tangled in Alastor's arms, couldn't help but snicker at the exchange. He pressed another kiss to Alastor's neck before murmuring, "It's true. He does have his secrets."
Angel threw his hands up in mock surrender. "Fine! You two win, keep your secrets. Just don't mind me if I start taking bets on what those names are."
Husk rolled his eyes and finally stood up from the bar. "Alright, I'm cutting you off before you get any worse," he muttered, swiping Angel's glass away and heading to the kitchen.
Angel laughed, leaning back in his seat. "You love me, Husky, don't lie."
In the middle of the teasing and banter, Alastor returned his attention fully to Lucifer, his voice dropping to a more intimate tone. "How are you feeling, love?"
Lucifer let out a relaxed sigh, sinking further into the comfort of Alastor's embrace. "Better now," he murmured. "Much better."
They stayed like that, the world around them filled with the gentle sounds of Angel's chatter and Husk's grumbling in the background. But for Lucifer and Alastor, it was like the rest of the world didn't exist—just the two of them, caught in their own little bubble of affection and warmth.
For a while, they simply sat there, occasionally sharing a kiss, holding each other close, and exchanging quiet, loving words. It was peaceful, and for both of them, it was exactly what they needed.
After a while, Lucifer spoke again, his voice soft. "We should probably head up soon, shouldn't we?"
Alastor chuckled. "I suppose, but I must say, I'm quite comfortable where we are. What's the rush?"
Lucifer smiled, his eyes sparkling. "No rush, just thought I'd point it out."
Alastor kissed him softly, lingering just a little longer this time. "Then let's stay just a little longer, *dear.*"
And so they did, completely content in each other's presence, while the world went on around them, leaving them in the safety and warmth of their shared love.
