The week has come to an end and I will admit that I went a little out of control with the reading about Hayden and all his other characters. That's why I haven't been writing as much on here.
The truth is I've read 65 hours this week... and it's all been about Hayden. Yeah I'm not telling my parents, or I may be sent into a mental hospital... just kidding, my parents know I've been reading a lot. They just don't know what I've been reading about ;)ANYWAYS here's the story.
————Anakin was devastated. His heart ached knowing the love of his life was left to die, he couldn't save her from the siths and the guilt was eating him inside out. The image of her being stabbed in the stomach by the bright red lightsaber haunted his mind like a restless ghost, looking for someone to possess. He overworked himself with difficult missions and extra training to escape the voices, but she didn't leave his mind ones. Not even in his sleep. Months passed and little to no emotion was found in him other than anger and grief. His actions mirrored his feelings and he slowly pushed everyone away, even Obi Wan.
One day on one of his missions he saw a familiar face. It hit him like a bullet when he realised who the face belonged to. But it's not possible.. he said under his breath, but when his eyes met hers he knew that even if this wasn't real, she was there. He was completely frozen and couldn't move, even if he tried to he stayed completely still. Anakin..?
That was is, that was the strength he needed to finally be able to move again. He rushed over to her scared that he'd wake up any moment, and she'd disappear again. When he reached her he quickly pulled her into his arms holding her close to him, still being afraid of losing her again. He couldn't let it happen again, he wasn't going to let it happen. No words left his lips and when he parted them to say something nothing left, the words he wanted to speak was stuck in his throat. But he didn't mind, the moment, the feeling, the touch spoke for itself. No words could explain how confused he was but he didn't look for them. All he needed in that moment was her body pressed against his. He buried his face in the crook of her neck, her scent filling his nose bringing a comforting feeling through his body that he had never felt before. The tears he had held back broke free and rushed out of him, and he didn't even try to hide them. Oh ani... his almost completely shattered heart was slowly being put together again as she spoke. He no longer felt the anger that had consumed him for so long, but it was replaced with another feeling he couldn't put to word. Y-you were d-dead..? He managed to speak a couple of words, even if he stuttered the words were out. Her hand found its way up to his hair and gently ran through it like she used to do, he sighed feeling a rush of nostalgia bathe over him making him completely numb. A numbness that wasn't painful, but comforting. He held her tightly against him afraid that he'd lose her again, he wasn't strong enough to lose her again, and if the day ever came he'd join her in death. Their souls belonged together almost like they've known each other in all the past lives, their souls were tied together unable to break the bond that held them together. But he didn't try to break it so he didn't know if it even was possible. All he knew was that he was hers and she was his and that she was alive and breathing. nothing could come between them.
Not even death.
