The ball was the most important occasion of the year, everyone were happy and excited both because of the party and drinking, but others like y/n were excited about who the queen and king of the night would be. The day rushed by and everyone tried to sober up before the special announcement . Y/n was standing in the back holding a cigarette between her fingers and slowly exhaled the smoke from her lips to the side. She was positive that she wouldn't be the queen of the night, not because people didn't like her. But because she was never anyone's favourite. Scott on the other hand knew who the winner would be. He tried to keep his expression casual as he stood with his hands in his pocket beside y/n, but the smirk that now and then crept on his lips exposed his suspicious act. Y/n didn't question it though her eyes locked on the girl who was on the stage and was about to announce the queen and king.

"tonight's king and queen are....." she said in the mic her hands fidgeting with the envelope in her hands as she tried to open it. Eventually she got it open and everyone was waiting impatiently. "The queen and king are Y/n y/l/n and t/k!" She announced and y/ns eyes widened at her announcement, she looked over at Scott who smiled at her and gave he gave her back a little push to get her on stage. She was completely speechless but gave him the cigarette before walking on stage with the king of the night.

"Yo dude how many people voted for her" Auggie asked stunned as he took y/ns place beside Scott. Scott's eyes never left y/n as she walked on stage and everyone was cheering on her making him smile. "Me, about 150 times" Scott said and Auggie scoffed with a smirk, almost fascinated about his love for her. Scott's eyes never left y/n, his eyes were full of admiration and love for the girl who had never won anything. But something she had won was his love.
