Anakin's POV
"Obi wan?" I yelled as I searched the empty rooms, but he was no where to be found. I started to get concerned about his disappearance because he would usually inform me about leaving. "Obi wa-" I repeated myself but this time I found him, with a girl. He turned around when he heard my voice, but he quickly told the girl to leave. I walked up to him but my eyes followed the girl who left the room."Anakin" Obi wan said and brought my attention to him, I stopped walking and crossed my arms to listen to his explanation, but I already knew he was going to come up with an excuse to why he had basically snuck a girl here without telling me. "She's the princess of (you're kingdom) I didn't tell you because I knew how you'd react" he sighed and I laughed sarcastically at his stupid excuse, but his expression was serious and I knew it wasn't a joke. I immediately stopped laughing and tried searching his eyes for any other explanation but he had told the truth, as I feared. "You want me to protect her?" I asked and he gave me a half smile but I didn't return it, and the smiled faded from his face into a more serious expression. "Yes, I do" he replied and I nodded softly. "Just until we find the person who's after her" he added and my his hand on my shoulder to try to connect eye contact. "How long?" I asked and he sighed pulling his hand of me and fixed his coat (iykyk) "I don't know" he said and started to walk away. "But you will protect her, I promise" he said and I looked confused at him, but he was soon gone and I was left alone again. "What" I murmured to myself and left the room to go look for the girl.
As I was walking through the hallway I was greeted by a female voice, I turned around and saw an unknown face but I knew who it was. My mouth parted softly as I looked at her features, and I didn't realise she had spoken to me. "Anakin?" She said and I closed my eyes and smiled awkwardly, as I returned to reality. "Yes!" I replied and she chuckled softly. I felt my heart starting to race faster and I started to lose focus. "I'm y/n y/l/n" she said and gave me a small smile before walking into what I assume is her room. And there I was, left completely speechless. I gulped and ran my hands through my hair as I cussed under my breath.
She was beautiful, and her laugh. Her laugh could break my heart into a million pieces. Obi wan was right, I was going to protect this girl no matter what.
