I was looking around scanning everyone as they passed me. My eyes mostly focused on their body trying to find someone who looked somewhat like me, but the more I searched the less I found and it slowly drowned me. Like I was being held under water and fought to get out of it, but the grip on me was too strong and I just had to let myself drown. That was until I was pulled out of the water by a low almost concerned voice.

"Y/n, you've been staring at people for the past 45 minutes..." Hayden's voice was calm and soft, but held a hint of sadness in it. His eyes looked over my face taking in my expression but he found nothing other than the slightest hint of pain in my eyes. I forced myself to look away from the large window that had other people on the outside, and I looked at him. "What is it that you're looking for?" He asked and sat down beside me on the small couch that I was placed on. His hand gently took mine and rubbed his finger over the back of it in attempt of comfort. His eyes still searching for any sign of emotion. "Nothing" I spoke up my voice not convincing him at all, but he accepted my need to keep it in for a bit. He let out a low sigh and followed my gaze out to the large amount of people that walked on the streets.

"You can't be something you're not, but you can be what you are." His sudden out of pocket words caused my eyes to land on him in almost guilt and confusion. He noticed my confusion and he sighed before grabbing my face in his soft warm hands and looked me in the eyes. "Don't think I don't notice it..." he spoke up in almost a whisper his eyes filled with an emotion I couldn't quite understand. His fingers slowly stroke my cheeks bringing me a sense of comfort and safety. "You're beautiful, please never think you're not" he said quietly and I released a small nod, causing him to smile in satisfaction. "Good. Because I mean it" he smiled softly and kissed my forehead.

"So beautiful"
