Y/n being the girl everyone ignored because of her past trauma, caused her to be completely friendless, lonely and she kept her feelings to herself. Her school days were mostly spent alone outside on a nearby bench, with a book about cheesy romance novels. Her AirPods were on noise cancelling to completely ignore the world she didn't even want to be apart off, she found herself spending more time in her imagination then in the real world. That's why she ended up taking drugs and consuming an unhealthy amount of pills and alcohol to disappear from her own problems and continue living in her fantasy. Her parents noticed her disappearance and the new atmosphere around her.
That's why she ended up at Mount Horizon High School.
"Y/n come on you need to help me with him, he's being a complete jerk and he knows it!" Shelby scoffed leaning back in her chair, with her arms crossed over her stomach. I rolled my eyes playfully and sighed causing her to immediately look at me with a wide smile. "You're too easy to get to do things" she smirked with a satisfied shrug and I just shook my head in amusement. Then out of my eye corner I saw an un familiar face walking around the halls. I looked at Shelby and gave her a confused look and she quickly turned around her eyes scanned the new boy. "That's the new boy I assume" she said her eyes still taking in his appearance, I nodded even though I knew she couldn't see me but i spoke up. "Yeah I guess" I said my voice calm and soft like it always was but a different hint of a different feeling. Shelby quickly looked back at me when she heard the difference in my voice and a small smirk crept on her lips. "No way you thinks he's hot" she teased and held her hand by her mouth to stop herself from laughing. I huffed and looked away to hide the flustered expression I had on my face, but I was too late.
I had fallen for a boy I didn't even know, and he was probably messed up.
"Look there's your man" Shelby smirked pointing her eyes at Scott who had walked into the classroom and was now talking to Auggie. "Shut up!" I hissed and stepped on her foot to shut her up at least a little bit. Her face expression changed into a look of pain and I smiled satisfied. "You little bitch" she hissed in pain and bought her foot up to her hands and held it. "I bet YOUR man will help you with that" I smiled with a hint of sarcasm in the smile. She scoffed and rolled her eyes before her eyes found its way to Auggie. "Go talk to him S." I said playfully and started to drag her over to Auggie and Scott. "Wait no!" She quickly said when she realised what I was doing, but I kept dragging her until she stood in front of him. "Good luck" I whispered and managed to sneak a small look at Scott, but my heart skipped a beat when I realised he was already looking at me. I quickly looked away and turned to leave.
I was sitting in the library when I suddenly was scared by Shelby. I flinched slightly and put my hand over my heart to check if I still had pulse and she chuckled at my reaction "I have to talk to you" she said her voice filled with excitement and a hint of teasing. I sighed and rolled my eyes before speaking up. "Yeah?" I asked and put the book down on my lap keeping my finger on the page I was at. "I talked to Auggie. But that's not what matters, what matters is that Scott asked about you. He seemed so interested in you!" Her words sent a shiver down my spine and I felt a sense of hope and nervousness. "Wait really?" I asked not quite literally believing it, but her expression was serious and her smile was big. "Duhh!! He definitely likes you back and please get together!!" She replied and jumped in happiness.
