**Ziggy**
{"HOW COULD YOU GET EXPELLED AND NOT EVEN TELL ME?!"} I stood near the lockers with my phone away from my ear as Lexi screamed into it.
"I figured Zeke would have told you, I mean, the whole school wanted to get rid of me." I replied, frowning softly.
{"What? How can you say that, Ziggy? I never wanted to get rid of you!"} She hissed.
"Even though I'm seen as this confused teenage boy?" I asked her lowly.
{"..."}
{".. I really don't care about that, and you know that I don't. Why didn't you tell me, baby?"} She asked now, the anger in her voice dying down.My brows furrowed as I stood there.
"Because I had to deal with my uncle and cousin, but why didn't you message me yesterday when I didn't show up to class?" I found myself asking.
{"I figured you got sick or something."} She responded.
I blinked.
"But shouldn't that make you want to check on me?" I frowned.
{"It's cute you're sounding like the needy type, but hey, the bell just rang for next period. I'll talk to you later!"} She said before hanging up.I stood there, more confused and slightly hurt before sighing as I put my phone away.
"Well that didn't seem like a pleasant phone call." A deeper voice spoke up from behind me.
I turned and felt myself growing stiff.
It was him.
Kaiser. He stood there with his blue eyes locked right on me.
Rubbing the side of my neck, I gave off an awkward smile.
"It wasn't, but I'm still used to the girlfriend thing." I replied.
Kaiser blinked.
"Girlfriend? Oh, that's a shame." He chuckled as I stared, even more confused now.Kaiser stared back.
"Who do you have after lunch?" He asked me.
I blinked before pulling my schedule out.
"O-Oh um, I gave gym class with Coach Malone." I told him.
Kaiser nodded.
"I do too, would you like to walk to the cafeteria together?" He questioned.
I was feeling shy which seemed to make him smile for some reason."I promise I won't keep you from your friends if that's what you're worried about." He teased and my face grew warm.
"Oh, that's not it." I looked at him with a soft smile.
"I'm just not used to the guys here being so nice." I explained.
Kaiser blinked.
"Oh, is that so? Were you treated bad at the other school?" He questioned as we began to walk in the direction of what I assumed, was the cafeteria.I nibbled my bottom lip.
"I haven't found a place I wasn't treated badly at, even at home-- ah, I'm sorry. I'm the new kid, I shouldn't be venting to someone I barely know." I told him.
Kaiser smiled softly.
"I don't mind if you vent to me, just like I don't mind if you talk to me more in class." He shrugged.
I stared before looking away as my face grew hot."You're kind, even after Rocky said--"
"Rocky tends to say a lot of things, let me guess. Did he tell you that I was trouble?" He asked me.
I felt my eyes slightly widen before I found myself nodding.
Kaiser chuckled.
"He has his reasons for saying that, but between us? He's also trouble, I mean we are in a school for boys, so you'll see your fair share of students that are nothing but trouble." He explained.I frowned but nodded.
"So.. You're not the bullying type?" I asked him.
"In what sense?" He questioned with an arched brow.I blushed.
"Where you're mean to those weaker than you?" I looked at him now as Kaiser paused before smiling softly.
"I like to bully others, but not in that sense that you're thinking." He said with a wink.
"Plus, I'm only mean if given a reason to be. Now, Stetson and Dorian can be mean in the way you're thinking, they can also be quite the bullies if they're in a sour mood." He explained as he pushed open the double doors that led to the cafeteria.
There were boys everywhere."See your friends yet?" Kaiser questioned as he scanned the room.
I shook my head.
Kaiser smiled softly.
"Follow me, we'll get our lunch then I'll show you where they sit." He told me.
I blinked before nodding as I followed after the blond haired teenager.
