**Ziggy.**

I think my nerves finally caught up with me the moment we got to Rocky's lake house.
This would be my first time hanging out with them outside of school.
And.
I looked in the direction of Kaiser who stood with his friends, talking about something.
It would also be my second time hanging out with Kaiser as well.
It made my heart race, Kaiser really made me feel different.
More different than I expected and I know it was wrong.
But I wanted him to notice me more.
To want to know me more.

I know I wasn't the most exciting person, but Kaiser was taking a chance by wanting to know me.
My eyes were on the other, but my face grew warm when he looked in my direction.
Turning away fast, I cautiously looked over my shoulder to find him smiling softly before his attention was returning to whatever Dorian was telling him.

"Zigzag!" I turned to Rocky and Joshua, both grinning at me.
"Let's go down to the dock and swim, Jayce and Devin are being buzz kills." He told me.
I blinked.
"O-Oh okay, sure." I agreed, following after the two.
We were walking in the direction of Kaiser and it made me feel nervous when those four were looking at us.

"Where are you three going?" Stetson arched a brow at Rocky who rolled his eyes at the other.
"We're going swimming-"

"Where's Devin?" Jackie looked around as Rocky stared.
"Inside, both him and Jayce said they didn't want to swim." He shrugged.
Jackie grinned deviously looking in Dorian's direction.

"Shall we?" He suggested.
Dorian smirked.
"We shall." He said as the two headed in the direction of the lake house.

I watched, confused.
"Where are they going?" I asked.
Rocky looked to me.
"To piss off two blond's, come on." He told me as I blinked before nodding as I followed after the other, I looked over my shoulder to Kaiser who was talking to Stetson about something, before their attention turned to us.

I blinked but looked ahead so I wouldn't trip.

"It looks so refreshing." Rocky grinned with excitement.
I stood on the dock, eyes slightly wide at the mere sight of what a lake even looked like.

"Fascinating, lets test that theory."

My eyes were wide, because he came out of nowhere and was quick to pick Rocky up.

"Stetson, don't you dare!" Rocky screamed when Stetson cannon balled into the water with the two.
I stood there, nervous before feeling relieved when Rocky came up first, splashing Stetson.

"You bastard." He glared at Stetson who smirked, grabbing the others wrist and pulling the other into him, his lips on the other.
"You know you love me." He grinned as Rocky glared before he sighed softly.
"Uh huh." He rolled his eyes but managed a soft smile now.

Watching the two, I took a seat on the edge of the dock instead of getting in.
The water did feel nice.
A little too nice actually.

"Not getting in?" I looked over my shoulder to Kaiser who took a seat next to me.
My face grew warm.
"Oh.. not yet, I want to savor this." I watched the couple in the water flirting, while Joshua floated on his back, closer to the dock.

Kaiser looked to me.
"Savor?"
I looked to him.
"This is my first time being at a lake." I told him as his eyes grew wide.
"No kidding?"
I smiled softly.
"Well, I guess I'm lying. There was a time as a kid when I went with my parents, but no one realizes how dangerous it is, when your parents look away for a split second with you still in the water." I said.

Kaiser frowned softly.
"You almost drowned?"
I looked down at the water, but nodded.
"Yeah, I was little and one of my toys got taken out further by one of the waves, I went in after it instead of telling my mom or dad.. and well, by the time they noticed, I was already under the water and when I woke up. I was inside an ambulance." I told him.

Kaiser looked at me before he sighed softly.
"So does deep water scare you?" He questioned.
I felt my face growing warm.
"I guess that makes me sound pretty lame, huh?" I looked at him.
Kaiser blinked before smiling softly.
"Not at all, what I was going to suggest was-"

"MAKE WAY, CLEAR THE WAY OF THE DOCK, WE'VE GOT DANGEROUS MERCHANDISE!" Jackie yelled running down the trail.
"JACKIE, PUT ME THE FUCK DOWN!" Devin screamed as the blond carried Devin in his arms, running with speed down the dock as my eyes grew wide at how fast Jackie leapt into the water with the other.

But nothing prepared me for Dorian to be jumping in after them, with Jayce also in his arms.

I sat there in silence.
Kaiser pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Good grief." He sighed.
I was scared of this feeling, it's already happened once.
But.
It took over as a soft laugh escaped and Kaiser was sitting there with wide eyes.

"S-Sorry, it's just.. when I see your friends and mine, well.. It reminds me of a golden retriever and black cat ." I explained.
Kaiser blinked but smiled softly.
"They're definitely something else, and I did warn you." He told me.
I looked at him, smiling softly.
"You did."

"What I was going to suggest earlier.." Kaiser rubbed the side of his neck as I looked to him confused now.
"And if it's not being too forward, if I got in the water and kept you above water, would you get in?" He asked me.

My face caught fire sitting there.
"O-Oh.., I wouldn't want you to make yourself do that. If you want to get in, I can just sit here." I told him.
Kaiser shook his head, smiling softly at me.
"You're not making me do anything, and plus, I'd like for you to enjoy the water with us." He said.
Blushing as my brows knitted, I sucked in some air before nodding.

Kaiser blinked before grinning as he slipped into the water first.
He held onto the side of the dock, patiently waiting for me to take his hand.
"I won't let go, I promise." He told me.
Does he really not think about the things he says?
It was embarrassing from how he worded things.

I looked at him before finally taking the others hand and he carefully pulled me into the water with him.
"Just hook your arms around my neck if that makes it easier." Kaiser told me as he let go of the dock.
My face flushed red as I tried not to cling to him.
We were so close now.
His chest was against mine.

I held onto him as Kaiser made his way over to Dorian and a half awake Jayce.

"Oh, so you two finally decided to get in?" Dorian smirked at Kaiser who looked to him.
"In the least exciting way possible." He grinned.
Dorian rolled his eyes.
"We all can't be vanilla over here." He replied.

I rested my head against Kaiser's chest, my eyes on the water as I felt my heart racing.
This was all so new to me.
I was scared.
But.
I was also excited.

"K-Kaiser?"
Kaiser blinked looking down at me.
"Are you okay?" He questioned.
Blushing, I nodded.
"I.. I'm happy." I told him.
Kaiser's eyes grew wide.
"You are?" He asked me.
I nodded looking at the water.
"Mhm, I've never gotten to do anything like this before, not even with Lexi.. but, getting to experience this with everyone here.. I'm just so happy." I smiled softly at him, not even realizing everyone else had stopped what they were doing, to listen to our conversation.

"Alright Kaiser, we're switching partners, you take Stetson and Zigzag will be mine." Rocky told him as my eyes slightly widened feeling Kaiser's hold on me tighten.

"Not a chance, Ziggy's a lot more kinder than Stetson-"
"What the hell man!"
"And he also doesn't give me a headache anytime he talks." Kaiser continued.
"I have feelings you know!" Stetson glared at the other as Kaiser smirked.
"Oh you do?" He questioned.
Stetson squinted his eyes at the other.
"You know what? I'll let it go, because I'm the bigger person." 

Rocky arched a brow.
"You are?"
Stetson blinked before smirking wickedly as he leaned in, whispering something to Rocky who actually blushed before trying to push the other away.

"We're getting out first." Stetson said now, dragging Rocky behind him.
"Make sure you two clean up." Jackie called after them.

I looked at Kaiser confused.
"What are they having to clean up?" I asked.

Kaiser's eyes grew wide, and without thinking he glared at both Jackie and Dorian.

"Don't say a word." He told the two.
Jackie grinned deviously.
"But that takes the fun out of things." He responded.

Later that night after everyone had a turn at showering and getting into clean clothes.
Kaiser announced that he was going to start cooking soon.
Which only made me feel hungrier than I already was.

"Hey, Zigzag?"
I looked to Rocky as he joined me on the porch while the guys all stood around the grill, talking among themselves.
"What's up?" I questioned.
Rocky leaned over the railing as I joined him.

"Remember when you asked me about Kaiser for the first time, and I told you that he was trouble?" He questioned.
I blinked before nodding.
Rocky looked down at them.
"I lied, I think in a way I was trying to protect you, you were this outsider who looks like he can break at any second, and I didn't want that to happen. I thought when I told you he was trouble, you'd avoid him, but.." Rocky smiled softly rubbing the side of his neck.
"I don't think that's going to be possible anymore." He told me.

I looked at him, feeling confused.
"What do you mean?" I questioned.
"I mean-"

"Hey! Foods done." Jackie yelled as Rocky stepped back, his eyes on me.
"I don't want to scare you, so I'll leave it there, let's go eat." He said as I blinked, feeling even more confused before following after the other.

"Alright! We all knew this game was coming, time for a good fashion round of, truth or dare." Jackie grinned, rubbing his hands deviously as I sat between Kaiser and Rocky.

"Truth or dare?" I repeated looking to Rocky who blinked but smiled softly.
"It's where we choose a person to decide whether they want to share a truth about them, or have them do a dare of our choosing." He explained.
I blinked.
"O-Oh okay." 

"Jackie, you picked the game so you go first." Dorian told the other.
Jackie grinned.
"Glad you volunteered yourself, buddy." 
Dorian sighed.
"Dammit, well let's get this game started with dare." He responded.
Jackie smirked.
"I dare you to... send a dirty text to someone right now." He told the other.

Dorian blinked.
"Talk about mild." He pulled out his phone and typed something before sending it.
Just for us to see Jayce's phone light up.

None of the guys said anything, it was like they knew Dorian was going to target Jayce.
The blond pulled out his phone, his brows furrowed before his face turned red, immediately turning his phone off.

"What did it say?" Stetson grinned at Dorian.
"Do not tell them." Jayce had his face buried in his hands.

Dorian smirked softly before scanning the room, and his eyes locked on Stetson.
"Truth or dare." 
Stetson rolled his eyes.
"Don't be mild, but dare." He told him.

Dorian grinned.
"Read out the last dirty text you sent." He said.
Stetson stared, grabbing his own phone now but Rocky stopped him.
Glaring.
"Don't." He growled.

Stetson blinked before smirking wickedly.
"That's two strikes." His eyes fell on the message.

"I want your ass on my face." He boldly read out loud and my eyes were wide seeing Rocky's face growing red as he glared harshly at Stetson.
"Well it's not happening now." He hissed as Stetson grinned at him.

"Kaiser." His eyes never left Rocky's.
Kaiser looked up.
"Well I'm enjoying the dares, so let's stick with that." He said.

Stetson smirked at Rocky, his eyes looking in the direction of me.
"I'm tired of you keeping that band-aid on, as well as making this a text message challenge. Let's change it up, make out with Ziggy." He told him.

I felt my blood run ice cold sitting there.
I was stiff as a board as Kaiser remained sitting there, not moving before his eyes fell on me.

"It's only a game, but if you're not comfortable-"
"I-It's fine.. I don't want to make the game awkward.." I told him.

Kaiser's brows furrowed before glaring softly in Stetson's direction, who was smirking at him.

Kaiser looked back at me.
"Alright." 

There was no warning, his lips were on mine in seconds and my face was flushed red as his hand cupped the back of my neck.
"Breathe." He whispered against my lips before tears burned my eyes.
I felt him pushing us backwards into the grass, he was taking complete control as my brows knitted with his lips on mine.
His kisses were so soft, they weren't aggressive at all.
I was scared.
I'm scared of this.

I could feel the tears burning my eyes laying underneath him.
From the last four days of knowing Kaiser.
He's made me nothing but happy.
And I knew I had a hard time showing it.
But this?
His lips on mine, to the point of it feeling like he cherished me?
It scared me.

"Ziggy?"
I blinked as stray tears slipped looking up at him.
Kaiser's brows knitted.
"I'm sorr-"
"Don't say it." More tears appeared in my eyes.
"I don't want you to be." I told him as his eyes grew wide before pulling me up, his arms wrapping around me.

In that moment, I wanted to really savor this.
How careful he was with me.
But in that moment.
When my ear was against his chest.
There was one thing that I noticed.

There was no heart beat.
