Chapter 25

It's been a moment Jisung had grown close to Felix.

Between their chit chats in class and the shopping session, Jisung ended really liking Felix's brightness, and Felix loved Jisung's weird mind.

Since Jisung and Hyunjin mended up, Jisung also felt a bit better hanging out around them.

And it's been a good week where the four boys would hang out a bit after class, even having a coffee just between them.

It felt safe.

"You should have seen the way Hyunjin looked when he got rejected by that guy" Felix said with a loud laugh, remembering the scene.

"How could anyone reject ME ?" Hyunjin said with a scoff.

Jisung chuckled at that, shaking his head.

"Jisung would" Seungmin teased.

"Jisung is forgiven because he's on the heteros team" Hyunjin shrugged "Sadly, by the way"

Jisung tilted his head to the side.

"He's saying that you're hot, basically" Jeongin translated.

"Oh" Jisung chuckled "Am I ?"

"You're a snack and you know it" Hyunjin smirked.

"Sorry Hyunjin, I can't be the right guy for you" Jisung responded playfully.

"Annnd that's another rejection" Felix added with an amused smile.

"By the way, shouldn't we tell the others to join us ?" Jeongin asked.

"Is Minho busy ?" Felix asked Jisung.

The latter shrugged.

"Haven't seen him much lately" Jisung muttered.

"You two are literally roomies" Felix frowned.

"But he leaves early lately, and comes back pretty late" Jisung shrugged again "It's a shame"

"Hasn't he been gloomy ?" Seungmin said out of nowhere.

"Gloomy ?" Jisung asked, blinking rapidly.

"A bit saddened, no ?" Seungmin asked again.

"I didn't notice" Felix said, confused.

"Me neither" Jisung responded, even more confused.

"Nevermind then" Seungmin said, changing the conversation.

"But you know what I saw ??" Hyunjin said, leaning on his hand with a smirk "Jisung getting real close with Lia"

Jisung giggled at that.

"Yeah ! I saw them talking after class" Felix said excitedly "Is something happening ???" He asked

Jisung only shrugged, still confused on having friendships and decyphering relationships.

They continued teasing the boy, liking the way he seemed somehow flustered.

Jisung was being more and more 'normal', and they liked to see him adapting so well.

Later, Changbin and Chan tagged along.

They arrived at the coffee shop, and Changbin joined in the teasing rather quickly.

On the other side, Chan didn't appreciate it much.

He liked seeing Jisung being so social, but he couldn't help but feel bad for his best friend, knowing really well his moody behavior was heavily affected by the fact had an interest for a girl.

"Where's Min ?" Jisung ended up asking, turning to Chan.

"Well, hes busy-" Chan started, but got cut off by Changbin.

"Eating ass, most likely" Changbin said, chuckling loudly.

"He's in his ass-eater phase again ?" Felix asked with a laugh.

"What ?" Jisung asked, tilting his head to the side.

"Minho likes to court male, but a shit ton" Seungmin informed "Sometimes, he disappears for some time from the hangouts because he's jumping from guy to guy"

"Oh" Jisung responded.

It was new. He knew Minho had his experiences, but he didn't know it was that much.

And it didn't sit right with him that he'd preferred going on dates than spending time with them.

"He'll come back to you soon, don't worry" Changbin joked "The chopsticks must stick together"

Jisung only chuckled at that, not so naturally.

The rest of the hangout went on, but as smoothly for Jisung.

He was deeply concentrated on whatever Minho must be doing at the moment.

Arriving back in the dorms, Jisung was delighted to see Minho there, texting on his phone.

"Hey !" He smiled widely, rushing to sit at the table and have a light conversation.

It has been long since they did.

"Hi" Minho responded, smiling a bit at him.

Minho was delighted too, he really was.

But it was always ruined by the way his stomach churned when he put his eyes on him.

"How was your day ?" Jisung asked

"Nice" Minho shrugged "How was yours ?"

"Pretty cool ! We had a hangout with the boys !" He responded excitedly "But you weren't there" He added, pouty.

Minho could kill for this pout to disappear.

"Yeah... I was busy" He chuckled, somehow dryly.

"They told me you were on a date ?" Jisung said, still not over this fact.

"Yeah" Minho smiled, not so naturally.

"How was it ?" Jisung asked with a smile.

"Nice" Minho shrugged again, somehow not wanting to elaborate much.

"Are you in love ?" Jisung teased playfully.

Minho chuckled bitterly, shaking his head.

"It was just a sex thing, Ji" He clarified "I don't even know if I'll see that guy any other time"

"Oh okay" Jisung nodded, understanding.

"And how is it going with Lia ?" Minho asked.

It was crazy how he was confused between being curious on how they were getting close, but terrified of the answers.

"Oh it's going well !" Jisung responded with a wide smile "We're discussing almost every days, she even followed me on Instagram !" He added, too glad about it for Minho's sanity.

"Cool" Minho responded, forcing a smile on his face.

"But anyway" Jisung shrugged it off "I'd like to see you more at the hangouts" He added, again with that pout.

"I'll try" Minho responded.

He'd do anything for him anyway.

"It's been tiring without you" Jisung added, playful.

It's been tiring to see you  Minho thought.

"I'll bring up your energy by joining more, then" He reassured, chuckling at him.

Even if it hurts  He thought.
