Minho spent his weekend sleeping.
He thought that if he wasn't conscious, at least he wasn't worried sick.
Everytime he was awaken, his heart was beating abnormally fast. His palms were sweaty and his breathing was scattered.
He would look at his phone 4 times in the same minute, hoping for one thing.
That finally arrived on Monday, very early.
Jisung <3
min ?
i'm on the bus !
i'll be at the station
He woke up to those messages.
And in the blink on a eye, he had dressed up and was speed walking to the station.
He waited there, knee bouncing.
Until the bus arrived, and he finally felt a wave of reassurance throughout his body as he watched Jisung stepping out of it.
Minho ran to him.
In a second, Jisung was engulfed in a tight hug.
But Jisung flinched at the sudden contact.
Scared, Minho retreated from his hug right away, eyes full of concern as he watched him confusedly.
"Sorry" Jisung smiled "Habits"
Jisung didn't hesitate before wrapping his arms around the older again.
And Minho breathed out.
"Finally home" Jisung said as he fell face first on the couch, nuzzling his head on it happily.
Minho watched him fondly, before joining him there.
"I'm glad to see you" Minho blurted out.
Jisung looked up at him with a soft smile.
"See ? They didn't hold me back" Jisung chuckled.
"Don't jinx it" Minho nagged, sitting beside him and putting the boy's legs over his lap.
Jisung turned, sitting up to lean closer and give a kiss on Minho's lips.
He had missed it.
"My mother said a lot of things" Jisung mumbled.
"Like what ?"
"She said I looked different" He shrugged.
"In a good way or ... ?"
"I don't know" He chuckled dryly "I overthinked it all weekend"
"What is she expecting ? She wants you to stay brainwashed even if you live in another city ?" Minho asked
"She's hoping so" Jisung sighed "But I told her I was reading some books from the library of the town to not feel homesick"
"You little liar" Minho chuckled at that, pinching Jisung's cheek "If they knew you spent weeks reading about gender roles and homosexuality ..." He laughed it out.
"They would have a heart attack" Jisung chuckled "But I fooled them, somehow"
"You did ?" He asked curiously.
"I just had to tell them what they wanted to hear" He shrugged "Basically what I've been repeating all my life. 'Yes mother, I'm searching for a wife' 'No mother, I don't eat sugar' 'No mother, medicine is toxic' 'Yes mother I live alone and I don't talk to the people' 'Yes sir, I do sports and I take care of my body' 'Yes I will be a very reproductive male'" He repeated robotically, rolling his eyes as he did.
