Jisung walked on the University grounds with his suitcase, as he watched the huge building in awe.
It was enormous, and the gardens seemed to be as big as a park.
He had never seen anything like that, but it was also the first time he stepped in Seoul.
"That's how the capital city looks like" He muttered to himself, continuing his little walk.
For a first time out of his hometown, Jisung was amazed.
"Hello, Mister" Jisung said politely, smiling enthusiastically at the receptionist of the dorms.
The old man turned to take a look at him, he frowned, then tapped on his computer.
"Name ?" He said, not so politely.
"Han Jisung, First year" He responded, his energy not lessening.
"Room 143" He responded, and yawned loudly, throwing him the keys "It's a shared room"
"Shared ?" Jisung asked, frowning "I thought it was single rooms"
"It's not, read better" The man only answered, before shooing him away.
Confused but still excited for his arrival, he shrugged it away, and started walking in the corridors.
He had never seen anything like that, there was a lot of rooms, and the corridors were endless. He got slightly lost, until he found the room he was searching for.
Arriving in front of the room 143, he smiled as he started opening it.
His smile fell a bit when he entered.
It was pretty small, in his opinion.
There was a shared kitchen connected to a shared 'living room'. Or if you could call a table and a couch a living room.
There was shared bathrooms, that Jisung already dreaded.
And two little bedrooms, one of them being closed.
It was already decoracted, and it was in all honesty pretty cute.
Some colors here and there, and some ustensils to cook.
There was also a few books sitting on the table, and that made Jisung giddy.
He approached the books, realizing it was school books.
He opened one, and saw the different notes there was inside.
He couldn't wait to see how were the classes.
He couldn't wait to discover how it's like when you're not home-schooled.
Entering what seemed to be his bedroom, he sighed at how empty it was.
He had to do it himself, and he was already bored to the core.
Sitting on his empty bed, he picked up his phone, sighing as he saw the amount of messages his mom had sent.
jisung ???
did you arrive ??
how is the university ???
and the dorms ?
watch out for yourself !
He put his phone away, a bit too lazy to answer her right away.
She would be able to drive there and pick him up if he tells her he's rooming with someone, so he doesn't want to risk it.
It was hard enough to convince her to live away, he didn't want her to be more annoying.
Leaving his room to visit some more, he was uneasy at the idea of sharing with another human being.
Social interactions weren't really something he had grown used to, and it tired him a lot.
He also didn't know how he should act, but he decided that he'll just go with the flow.
Maybe he'll become close to someone.
Or maybe not. His mom and the people from the town wouldn't appreciate it.
He spent the rest of the day preparing his room.
After searching on his phone how to put on sheets on beds, he ended up successing. After the third or the fourth try, though.
So when he finished, the sun was setting, and that's when he heard the door of the room open.
Realizing that his so called roommate had arrived, he walked to the living room.
And faced the guy.
The guy got a bit scared, jolting when he turned from the door and noticed a young guy staring at him by the door of his bedroom.
"H-Hi" He said, a bit taken aback, before realizing it was his new roommate, and putting on a sweet smile.
He walked closer to him.
"I'm Minho, I'm on my second year" He introduced himself, handing out his hand for him to shake it.
Unnaturally, Jisung suddenly bowed 90 degrees, hands sitting on his legs carefully.
"Hello, I'm Han Jisung. 20. First year student" He said, robotically.
Minho blinked at the unusual sight, retracting his hand from him and trying to answer this.
"Oh- Um... It's okay, don't bow" Minho awkwardly responded.
Jisung stood back up, smiling unnaturally and staring, not a word escaping his mouth.
Minho was, in all honesty, creeped out.
He stared back, trying to find something to say, but not finding anything.
"You can relax, you know right ?" Minho said, trying to be cool.
Jisung tilted his head to the side, not understanding.
"Huh ?"
"Nevermind" Minho blinked, too tired to take care of this weird ass situation "Welcome, I guess" He ended up saying, and started walking to the fridge.
Jisung only looked at him as the boy picked up a soda from the fridge, and turned. Again, he was a bit weirded out by Jisung's gaze, but quickly disappeared to his room.
When he left, he walked to the fridge, and opened it.
He watched the different things inside, before picking up the same soda Minho did.
He turned it to look at the ingredients, and put it back in the fridge.
"Too sugary" He complained.
He looked at the water bottle, and took it, bringing it to his own room.
And Jisung still hadn't realize that Minho's stuff wasn't his.
