Walking to the party, Jisung was overexcited.
He was smiling from ear to ear, happy to follow Minho's steps of life.
Minho was in a good mood, happy to go party, and happy to see Jisung enjoy himself a little bit.
Arriving in there, the music was blaring and the lights were colorful.
A lot of people was already there, drinking and dancing, singing the lyrics of the songs rather loudly.
There was a lot of boys and girls, some making out in the corner, and groups of people laughing and having fun.
Between all the sounds and lights, Jisung immediately felt a bit overwhelmed, so he stood closer to Minho, and followed him everywhere as they entered.
Minho wanted to show Jisung that life was everything else than his little cult on the countryside, and partying like university students was part of it.
So he brought him to the dancefloor, and smile at him as he started dancing a bit.
Jisung tried to follow him, and started moving his feet and arms, without coordination. He looked like a robot in the middle of a dancefloor, moves rigid as he tried to dance. It was terribly awkward.
Minho chuckled at that, as he leant closer to Jisung's ear so he could hear him.
"Relax your body, you're too robotic" Minho adviced.
"Huh ?" Jisung frowned confusedly "How ?"
"Let your shoulders down, follow the rhythm of the music with them, don't step so strongly, just let your body flow with it" He added, watching as Jisung tried to do, but still looked pretty awkward.
At this, Minho couldn't help but find the younger cute.
He put his hands on his shoulders softly, guiding his arms to seem a bit more natural.
Jisung nodded, following what Minho was teaching.
Then he told him to look at their feet, and showed a pattern of dancing, simple but effective in parties.
Jisung followed it, immediately feeling himself get relaxed, as a wide smile grew on his lips.
And at some point, his dancing finally looked like something look-able and not terribly awkward.
So they danced for many minutes, with Minho singing the lyrics pretty loudly, and Jisung observing him. He didn't know any lyrics, most of the songs completely unknown to him, but seeing his friend having so much fun was contagious, and he liked it.
After some time of dancing, Jisung seemed to be slightly bored. So Minho softly grabbed his arm, and brought him to the bar so they talk a little bit.
"What do you usually do at parties ?" Jisung asked curiously.
"Drink" Minho smirked "Want something ? I'll order"
"I can't drink" He shrugged "I'd want a water" He asked
"You don't or you can't ?" Minho frowned, turning to him
"I can't" He responded, seriously "My mom would punish me for it"
"Okay..." Minho responded, not liking the response, but not insisting. If there was something that couldn't harm Jisung, was to listen to his mom and not drink.
He ordered for the both of them, and he received a beer, along with a cup of water.
"What else ?" Jisung asked, sipping his water.
"Well, I dance, I have fun, I sleep with boys..." Minho said, thinking.
"Oh- But I will not sleep with boys" Jisung corrected, a bit taken aback.
Minho chuckled at that.
"You can sleep with girls, if they want to" He said, smiling.
"I don't really want to have sex" Jisung responded, frowning.
Minho blinked
"...Damn" He said, face neutral "As you want, I guess"
"But maybe I should find a wife" Jisung said, turning to look at the people at the party.
"Wait slow down" Minho said with a little chuckle "You can find someone to talk to, to get interested in, and maybe fall in love. But not 'find a wife', right ?"
"... I only learnt that I need to marry and own a wife" Jisung shrugged, looking at Minho with lost eyes.
Again, that would make Minho feel some pity.
"Marriage is supposed to be a show of love" Minho said softly, trying to explain "You don't... 'own' a wife. You fall in love and want to show your soulmate how much you'd like to love them forever"
Jisung stared, a bit confused, but liking what he was hearing.
"O-Okay" He nodded.
"Have you ever talked to a woman ?" Minho asked.
"My mother"
"Other than your mother" He said, rolling his eyes.
"Um... The woman from the supermarket ?" Jisung continued
"..." Minho blinked "Well, let's learn how to talk to people in general, okay ?" He offered, sitting at the bar.
"Okay" He nodded
"Imagine I'm a woman and you want to flirt with me, what would you say ?" Minho said, smiling amusedly.
"Hello, I'm Han Jisung and I'm 20. Should we have coffee and some pastries ?" He smiled cutely.
Minho stared, a hand finding his forehead.
"... It's gonna be harder than a thought" He muttered.
For many minutes, Minho explained to him why his way of doing was unnatural.
He explained how flirting was supposed to be more subtle, more funny, and needed to be attention-catchy. He explained to him that he didn't need to be so serious, and Jisung took his advices.
Jisung continued 'training', and after many tried, it wasn't as bad.
So far, Jisung was doing well.
Until he wasn't.
"Give me your phone number" Jisung said, straight to the point.
Minho shook his head
"Jisung, you shouldn't say it like that" He said, correcting him.
"Huh ?"
"Ask her, don't command her" Minho explained "It seemed a bit too violent"
"But she has to" Jisung frowned.
"No" Minho shook his head quickly "Not at all, Jisung, she's free to do whatever she wants. Remember, she has her own rights to refuse"
"Oh right" Jisung widened his eyes, remembering "She's equal"
"Exactly" Minho nodded proudly.
"Can I have your phone number, then ?" Jisung smiled
"No" Minho said with a laugh, taunting him.
"But-" Jisung started by frowning, before thinking for a moment "Oh right" He nodded to himself, as if he was having an internal conversation "Okay then !" He ended up smiling, not minding it much.
And Minho was proud of the improvement.
In the end, they went back home with chuckles and laugh.
Minho didn't go back home with a guy.
And Jisung hadn't talk to any woman for the entire time.
