Leaving classes, Minho was furious against himself.

Stupidly, he had brought the wrong book in his bag, and had to spent 3 hours in a class he couldn't follow with care because he didn't have his book.

He felt despair knowing he'll have to spend that same time at home to work on the subject from today, and he was already way too lazy for it.

Picking up his bag, he took a look at the bag he brought instead.

'Gender roles'

Well, he loved to read that book the year before for his classes, but it really wasn't useful anymore.

Until his brain clicked, an idea formed.

Walking back home, he found the boys sitting on a bench, discussing lightly.

He walked to them, smiling.

"Hey" He said.

"Yo, you finished your classes for today ?" Felix asked

"Fucking finally" He groaned.

"What about Changbin ?" Felix asked again

Minho smirked at the targetted question.

"He did too" He responded, unable to erase his teasing smirk, making Felix roll his eyes "Isn't Jisung with you three ?"

Hyunjin scoffed again.

"He went back to the dorms, he never stays much" Jeongin answered, shrugging.

Minho looked at Hyunjin, trying to decipher his thoughts.

"He apologized to me today" Hyunjin said, still a bit confused on what to think about it.

"He did ? That's good" Minho responded

"Yeah" He said sarcastically, rolling his eyes.

"Why so mad ? He apologized, didn't he ?" Minho frowned.

"Look, I don't appreciate close-minded assholes, and I also didn't appreciate that you brought him with us that other time" Hyunjin responded sassily.

"Did Felix tell you about his backgrounds ?" Minho asked, seriously.

And Felix shook his head.

"Jisung grew up secluded in something similar with a cult. He grew up endoctrinated, and has been learning in weeks what you learnt in your entire life Hyunjin. Spare the boy of judgement, he already knows he's different and he's trying to compensate for it" Minho explained, watching how Seungmin nodded along.

"A cult ?" Hyunjin frowned.

"Something like that, with inequal rights and abusive treatments." Minho shrugged, passing the details "What is important, is that Jisung has been thinking with more open-minded thoughts in 3 weeks than stupid guys that grew up with the same education as us"

"I told you that treating him like a freak wouldn't help him" Seungmin joined in.

"Well, I don't want to make anyone's education, I'm not patient enough for it. If he wants to be nice and respectful, I'll be nice and respectful too" Hyunjin defended, crossing his arms.

"Then be it" Minho smiled "Because he's my friend, like it or not, so he'll be at hang-outs, like it or not"

And Felix smiled at Minho, liking the mindset.

"Alright" Hyunjin said, still sassily.

Minho chuckled at that, knowing that Hyunjin will end up coming around.

"Anyways, see you guys !"

Arriving at the dorm, he opened his door and greeted Jisung, knowing he'd be on the couch studying.

"Feeling better ?" Jisung asked, eyes not detaching from his notes.

"Yep" Minho responded, than sat at the table, observing the younger "Why do you always study ?" He asked curiously.

Jisung looked back at him.

"Why do you never study ?" He responded, neutral.

"Hey!" Minho defended "I do study ! Just not as much as you !"

"Oh" Jisung looked back at his notes "I just never see you doing so"

Minho watched, feeling a bit ashamed.

Jisung wasn't so wrong, he wasn't the kind to study much.

He ran to his room, picking the book he had forgotten so stupidly, before going back to the living room.

"Would you mind if I join you ?" He asked politely.

Jisung moved aside on the couch, moving a few of his books as well to make room for Minho.

So Minho smiled, and joined the studying session.

After an hour or so, Minho yawned loudly.

He closed his book, too lazy to give more attention to words written on paper.

He turned to Jisung, remembering his day.

"I have something for you" He said, walking to his bag.

"Oh ?" Jisung said, looking up and seeing how Minho was smiling, handing him a book "Gender roles ?" He read out loud, confused.

"It's a book from last year's classes" Minho smiled "It's pretty useful to understand equal rights between man and woman, maybe it'll help you understanding it"

"Oh thank you, Minho" Jisung smiled softly, grabbing the book and delicately putting it on his other books.

"You're welcome" Minho responded, walking to the ktichen "Wanna eat something ?"

"I bought some eggs, if you want to use it" Jisung responded.

"Okay, you buy and I cook" Minho said with a chuckle, picking the ingredients from the fridge.

"That'd be perfect for me" Jisung chuckled along "I don't think I'll ever get used to cooking"

"Everything comes with practice"

"Right" Jisung said, closing his notes and sitting straight on the couch "By the way, I talked to Hyunjin"

"He told me" Minho said, deciding to keep the rest to himself "How did you feel about it ?"

"Better" Jisung nodded "But I don't think he was convinced"

"Why ?"

"I'm not sure" Jisung said, trying hard to understand but being too clueless to actually read people "But he didn't say the same kind words you do when I apologize to you"

"Hyunjin has a hard shell" Minho explained.

"A shell ?!" Jisung gasped

"It means he's hard to read and hard to convince" Minho corrected with a chuckle "Even if you apologized, it might take some time for him to be fully okay with you"

"Oh"

"Don't worry, there is no reason to dislike you now" Minho reassured, turning to him with a soft smile.

"Really ?" Jisung asked with doubt, almost pouty.

"Cute" He muttered with a smile "Of course, you're doing a shit ton of efforts, he'll notice"

"Okay" Jisung smiled, standing up.

"No worries ?" Minho asked to make sure, starting his cooking.

"No worries" Jisung responded, walking to the dishes.
