All of them continued to run through the forest they had entered while Gandalf began to count each member of the company who passed him.

"Five, six, seven, eight. Bifur, Bofur. That's ten. Fili, Kili, Heather. That's thirteen. And bombur that makes fourteen."Gandalf said, all of them coming to a stop,"Where's Bilbo? Where is our hobbit?"Heather began to look around in slight panic once she realized her uncle was nowhere to be found,"Where is our hobbit?!"Gandalf repeated. Heather felt kind of angry at herself for not making sure her own uncle was with them, she was too caught up in trying to escape the goblins.

"Curse that halfling! Now he's lost?"

"I thought he was with Dori!"

"Don't blame me!"Dori cried out.

"Where did you last see him?"Gandalf asked.

"I think I was him slip away when they first collared us."Nori explained.

"Then what happened, exactly?"Gandalf asked,"Tell me!"

"I'll tell you what happened."Thorin spoke up, and in the same exact moment Heather knew this is going down now,"Master baggings saw his chance and he took it. He has thought of nothing but his soft bed and his warm hearth since he first stepped out of his door. We will not be seeing our hobbit again. He is long gone."

Heather clenched her first, she didn't wanted to believe what Thorin just said, her uncle wasn't like that,"How dare you say such things!"Heather exclaimed, glaring at the older one.

"Excuse me?"

"You heard me! You don't know my uncle like I do! So you have no right to speak that way about him. He has courage deep within him even if he doesn't show nor knows it himself yet. So watch your tongue when you speak."Heather snapped.

"Don't you dare talk to me that way, woman. Show some respect instead of trying to defend your uncle while he also left you alone to rot."Thorin spat while stepping closer to Heather, his voice leaving no rooms for arguments.

Heather's confidence faltered for a moment before she let out a sigh,"My uncle didn't left us. I'm sure of it."She murmured, she was sure she could her faint footsteps behind one of the trees. And deep in her she hoped that it was her uncle.

"Then you are wrong. Our hobbit left."

"No."A voice was heard making everyone turn around to see Bilbo,"He isn't."relieved sighs erupted from the company, relieved that he wasn't gone like Thorin had stated.

"Uncle!"Heather said a small smile forming in her face, her intentions never fail her.

"Bilbo baggings!"Gandalf spoke,"I've never been so glad to see anyone in my life."

"Bilbo. We'd given you up."Kili pointed out, a soft smile on his face as he looked at the hobbit.

"How on earth did you get past the goblins?"Fili asked the questions everyone else was wanted the answer for too.

"How, indeed."Dwalin asked as he stood beside Thorin who didnt all too pleased at being proved wrong. Bilbo let out a nervous like chuckle as he put his hand into his shirt pocket, as if something was in there.

"Well, what does it matter? He's back."Gandalf pointed out, seeming to notice Bilbo's movement but not saying anything about it yet.

"It matters. I want to know."Thorin protested as he looked at Bilbo,"Why did you come back?"

"Look, I know you doubt me. I know you always have."Bilbo began to speak, seemingly to know his answer already,"And you're right, I often think of Bag End. I miss my books. And my armchair. And my garden. See, that's where I belong. That's home. That's why I came back. 'Cause... you don't have one. A home. It was taken from you. But I will help you take it back if I can."
