Heather did not wanted to speak to Legolas's father, Thranduil, King of Mirkwood and all. And she was in luck that she did not had to. Instead she and the rest of the dwarves got pushed into cells, while they complained.

And well, Thorin was most likely talking to him as he was not put in a cell like the rest of them.

Anyway, Heather surprisingly got pushed into a cell with Kili, not actually gently pushed though, but she just let out a sigh and sat down on the ground beside Kili, leaning against the wall.

The rest of the dwarves aside Balin tried to break the cell bars, throwing themselves against these until Balin spoke up.

"Leave it! There's no way out! This is no orc dungeon. These are the halls of the Woodland Realm. No one leaves here but by the King's consent."

And actually, after this words, silence fell over the company that was put into cells. Heather let out a sigh, her head against the wall as she closed her eyes.

The last time she was in Mirkwood she hated it here, the king didn't seemed to like her yet he also doesn't really hate her. But his son, Legolas actually got close with Heather the month she stayed in Mirkwood because she got lost.

She was welcomed, yes, simply because her mother was a royal and well-known elf around each elven kin. Her mother, Althea Fairley, was the cousin to Elrond, and also was a sweet and kind soul. She never ever tried to hurt innocent and pure lives, yet she could also be fierce and aggressive if someone wronged her or the ones she loved. At least she was that way.

Later on, Thorin got pushed into his own cell before the guard with the keys left.

"Did he offer you a deal?"Balin asked.

"He did. I told him he could go îsh kakhfê Al'd dûr-rugnu! Him and all his kin!"Thorin responded making Heather look at Kili, in confusion of what has been said but he just shook his head.

"Well, that's that, then."Balin sighed,"A deal was our only hope."

"Not our only hope."Thorin whispered.

Heather didn't know how much time had passed, but it seemed to be so much time that her mind didn't had anything happy to think about anymore and wandered to darker places instead.

"Morana?"Kili asked as put a hand on
Heather's shoulder making him turn to him with a hum, "What's on your mind?"

"Nothing much. The usual."

"The usual?"Kili asked softly but didn't pushed farther and instead asked something he wanted to ask since Rivendell, "Say, what are you? Like, you always tell that you are just half hobbit, but I don't remember you saying what else you are?"

Heather shrugged, but it wasn't the shrugged that means I don't know rather one that means
that she wasn't sure how to tell. She knew that dwarves aren't fond of elves, and she herself was half elf.

"You can tell me you know that right?" Kili said,"I know you aren't that tough like you try to be, I can see through that, Morana. You don't have to hide your feelings in front of me."

Heather stayed silent for moments longer, debating whether to tell or not. She didn't open up to many people, actually, she doesn't really open up to anyone. She never wanted to bother other people with her problems when they have their own.

She didn't knew why she was that way, but she was just. And.. sarcastic comments kind of was a small way for her how to cope with everything. Which doesn't really helped most times.

"Well...I'm half elf. Half hobbit."She shrugged but Kili stayed silent yet in his eyes wasn't anger, rather understanding, his eyes were soft.

This slowly encouraged Heather to continue.
