Tierra POV
I hugged my brother not wanting to let him go. He was finally home and I missed him.
"I swear I won't leave you like that again" he said.
I nodding wiping my tears as we pulled away.
"Lil bit" he said to Mika.
"Hi Ty" she smiled.
He pulled her into a hug.
"Damn G, y'all really grew up on me" he said letting her go.
I smiled.
My mom walked over.
"Hey son" she said.
"Hey ma" he said and they hugged.
I could hear her cries, she told me just last week she felt guilty for how our lives turned upside down. She felt like if she didn't start using that Ty would've never went inside and me and Mika would've never been in the system.
"I'm so sorry" she told him.
"Ma this was all me I knew what I was doing could put me in here and I ain't going back" he said.
She pulled away and wiped her tears.
We got in her car and left the prison.
We went to her house, I had Taj bringing Titan over to meet his uncle.
Ty and I sat outback as he smoked and we caught up. He heard I had made a name for myself and he was proud that I held it down for Mika and myself.
He also wanted back in so I told him I'd make some calls and room for him too.
Taj came and we went inside.
"Mama" Titan said and reached for me.
I took him "hi my baby" I said and kissed his cheeks as he smiled.
"What up" Taj said dapping Ty up.
"What up" Ty said.
"So this my nephew, what up man" Ty said to him.
"Junie give him a pound" Taj said.
Ty held up his fist and Titan gave him a pound and I smiled.
"Man he look like both of y'all" Ty said to us.
"Man that's my Junior" Taj said and they laughed.
I rolled my eyes.
Ty got to know Taj a little before he had to leave. I stayed for a few hours before going back home.
I was about to start night school next month to get my cosmetology license. Even though I graduated top of my class and could have went to any school I wanted to my I want to heart open up my own salon here in Chicago.
By august I was able to find a spot for Ty. I got him some corners and let him run them.
August 3rd
"Be careful Papa" I said as he walked around the bounce house.
We decided to do a petting zoo for his birthday and we rented out a bounce house for the kids
"He good, jump Junie" Taj said to him.
I looked as my baby just stood and tried to jump and copy his cousin, his feet never coming off the ground.
"And he swear he jumpin" Taj said laughing.
I took some videos of him.
"I want him to ride the pony and pet the chickens" I said.
