"Have you and your brother made up yet because I be don't want a repeat of last year, y'all are siblings" my mom asked as I sat on the phone with her while I braided Heiress hair in the living room.
"I'm mean we're okay I guess since we had to see each other so much at the boys games" I said.
"Mommy my cup" Heiress said reaching for it on the table across from it.
I grabbed it for her and handed it to her.
"Thank you mommy" she said sweetly with her head laid on my lap.
"You're welcome mamas" I said and kissed her cheek.
"Well I guess that'll do I just don't want y'all having that tension anymore. I tried to raise y'all to always be close, well from what all I was there for" she said.
"I know and we'll get there... one day" I said.
"Yea well you still making the wings for me right" she asked.
"Yes but I don't know why we having all these flavored wings" I said.
She wanted me to make 4 different flavored wings.
"Well I want to try some new flavors and Tai likes the ranch wings and your sister likes the Buffalo so I figured we can do those" she said.
"I swear you got his lil self spoiled" I said rolling my eyes.
"That's Honeys Winnie Pooh" she said.
"Don't remind me all he wanna do is go to Honeys house" I said and she laughed.
"And he always can, where are they it's sounds quiet over there" she said.
"They're with Taj he had to go by his moms and you know they love that dog and plus Jay here" I said.
"Why don't y'all just bring the dog with y'all ain't it Taj dog anyways" she asked.
"It is but ma you know I don't do dogs" I said.
"You need to get over that girl and let them kids have a dog y'all had one" she said.
"No Ty had one I didn't want that dog" I said.
I picked up my phone hearing another call coming in through my airPods.
"Hold on ma this Taj" I said.
"Go head I'll talk to you later or just see you tomorrow" she said.
"Okay" I said.
"I love you and kiss my babies for me" she said.
"I will and love you too" I said.
"Okay bye" she said.
"Bye" I said and clicked over to Taj call.
"Yes" I said putting my phone down continuing to the braid I was on.
I was giving her braids going down to the side and then adding beads on the end.
"Why it take you so long to answer you still doing my baby hair" he asked.
"I was talking to my mom about tomorrow and yes I'm almost done though. Was your mom able to get what she needed" I asked.
"G yes I swear I'm so glad they had that shit cause she was starting to piss me off" he said.
"That would've been on you, she told you last week to take her to go get it" I said.
He sucked his teeth.
