Tierra POV
I sat up against the pillows after just having fucked Taj to start off my 25th birthday.
"I swear this shit better be important y'all know what today is" he said on the phone as he went to the closet.
In the midst of us fucking his phone kept going off and once he finally decided to answer it he let me know he had to go and meet with Rico and the crew about some shit.
I heard my phone ding so I picked it up figuring it was another birthday message.
Hey my Queen I know you've been getting my text and calls but you know you want your face. I want to say happy birthday and for us to meet for breakfast at our spot. I'll be there at 11 and I hope to see you there.
I sighed.
"I swear I'm not finna be long baby" Taj said walking over.
"It's not you but okay" I said.
"I'm sorry but I swear imma make it up to you when I get back" he said.
I held the sides of his face.
"I know you will, I love you" I said to him.
"I love you more" he said and we shared a few kisses before I let him go.
He left out the room grabbing his keys off the drawer.
I got a call from Titan on his iPad so I answered and the kids wished me a happy birthday.
They were over at my moms for the weekend.
After getting off the phone with them I sat in bed contemplating what I should do since Taj was gone and the kids.
"Fuck" I said before reluctantly getting out of bed.

I looked around Anne Sathers, I purposely haven't been here since my dad got arrested because it was our spot on sundays he'd bring me everyday.
Sundays were our days.
He said he chose Sunday because that's the day his miracle baby came into the world so it'd always be a special day of the week for him.
Today being Sunday made this feel even more weird.
"Hi just one" the lady asked.
"No I'm looking-" I stopped seeing my dad sitting at the exact table we'd sit at every time in the middle of the restaurant.
"I found him" I said to the server.
"Go right on ahead" she said to me smiling.
I thanked her and walked over to the table.
"Queen" my dad said surprised as he stood.
"Tierra" I said.
He nodded.
"Come on and sit down I'm happy you came" he said smiling.
He had two dimples just like me I honestly felt like I looked like a perfect blend of both my parents. Ty looks just like him while Mika looks like our mom and I was right in the middle.
I sat down and then he did.
"I got you a lemonade. I didn't think you would come but just incase" he said.
I nodded.
"Thank you" I said.
"Shit" he said and roughly wiped his few tears that fell as he looked at me smiling.
