Tierra POV
I looked back seeing Taj walk into the kitchen coughing.
"Taj I told yo ass stay up there and that I would bring you; your food" I said to him.
"My throat dry I need a Gatorade" he said going in the fridge.
I put his soup in a bowl.
"Man you know I need some real food" he said after drinking some of his Gatorade.
"No yo sick ass need some soup, come on so I can take this upstairs or do you want to eat down here" I asked.
"I'll stay down here" he said coughing.
I made a stank face watching him sit at the island.
I placed his bowl in front of him.
"Come here I need you to feed me" he said.
"Taj no I already shouldn't be around you I'm not trying to get sick" I said getting me a water.
"G come here" he said sucking his teeth.
I drank some of my water but walked over to him.
I stood in between his legs and sat my water down.
I picked up a spoonful of soup.
"Open your mouth" I said holding the spoon up to his mouth.
"I need a kiss first" he said placing his hands on my sides.
"Taj" I said.
He puckered up his lips and I kissed them.
"Now eat" I said.
He opened his mouth and I started to feed him.
"You like it" I asked.
"Yea this ain't that can shit" he said.
"It's homemade my mom and granny used to make this when I'd get sick when I was younger. It's one of my favorite foods" I said feeding him another spoonful.
He nodded.
"I could eat this as a regular meal" he said.
I smiled and kissed his lips.
He pulled me to him and laid his head on my chest.
"Baby you gotta eat" I said putting the spoon down to hug his head.
"I just want to lay in bed with you" he said.
I kissed his head and laid my head on his.
"You're a little warm, I gave you some medicine before I took the kids right" I asked.
He didn't say anything.
I had to take the kids to his moms for the weekend. We had a sickness that traveled through the house and Taj finally caught it and he never gets sick.
"Taj" I said looking down at him.
"What" he said lowly.
I could tell he was falling asleep.
I leaned his head up to look at me.
"Baby just take a few more spoonfuls and then you can go lay down" I said kissing his lips twice.
"You gone lay down with me" he said.
I kissed his lips.
"Yes just let me clean this up" I said.
