Tierra POV

I opened my eyes and I was sitting in a hospital bed. The lighting was bright and it took a minute for my vision to adjust.

I sat up and looked around and called out for Taj and he didn't come not even a nurse. I moved the hospital blanket from off me and saw I was still in my bloody white dress.

I got out of bed slowly I wasn't in pain, whatever they had me on was doing amazing.

I left out the room I felt a little disgusted walking on the hospital floor barefoot but I didn't have any shoes in my room.

I walked out to the hall "hello" I called out not seeing anyone in sight.

Not even a doctor or nurse it was like the hospital was empty.

I walked near a room and the light was on so I opened the door.

"Granny" I said seeing her sitting in the hospital bed.

"Puddin" she smiled.

I ran to her with tears in my eyes "I missed you so much" I said as we hugged.

It felt so good to be in her hold. She rubbed my back and pulled back.

"What you doing here" she asked confused.

"I got shot" I said and looked down at my dress the blood stains were gone.

"What it - it was just bloody" I said.

She looked at me "you're not supposed to be here" she said.

"I just woke up here" I said confused.

"You gotta go back baby, you got those babies that need you" she said trying to usher me out the room.

"Wait Granny" I said and stood my ground.

"Puddin" she sad to me.

I looked at her realizing where I could be.

"Granny I'm supposed to be here with you, they were supposed to take me with you. It was my fault I didn't shut the door behind myself like you said" I cried.

She got out of bed and hugged me. "Hey it's okay, it wasn't your fault" she said.

"It was Granny I gave you such a hard time back then and I'm sorry" I said looking up at her.

"You were a hurting child that's all but I know your heart. You showed me that more than the times you were acting a fool" she said.

I did a small laugh "I'm sorry for everything, I deserve to be here not you" I said.

"Watch your mouth no you don't. Now you got something's you need to change but you're doing alright. I see those babies and you are doing a great job with them" she said.

I smiled thinking about my babies.

"Granny I want the best for them" I said.

"Sit down" she said so we did taking a seat in the two chairs.

She held my hands.

"You are doing good but you have to do better. You don't need to be in that mess you're in and you know it. It got your daddy and brother locked away from you. You don't want that for them do you" she said.

I shook my head "I want to leave" I said.

She gave me a look. "I'm going to leave, Taj doesn't want to though. I don't know if it's the money or he just likes the fast life-" I rambled.

"What he does is what he does. He's a good man but you have to do what's best for you and your kids and he either comes or stays where he's at but you gotta think about them babies. They deserve to be raised with you as their mother" she said.
