Next Week
Tierra POV
I stood behind the boys as they stood in my bathroom brushing their teeth.
"Mommy I thought daddy was gonna stay the night" Titan asked.
"No but he'll be here in a few to take y'all to the bus stop" I said.
"Okay" he said.
I took off their durags and put some oil on their fresh braids. I washed their face and then took them downstairs to eat.
I heard the door "daddy" Tai said smiling.
"Go ahead and get the door" I said to him.
He smiled and went to go open it. I had taken my key from Taj so he had no choice but to ring the door bell.
Titan sat eating his bowl of cereal while I made them a lunch.
Taj walked in holding Tai.
"Whats up big boy you ready for school" Taj asked Titan.
"Yes" Titan said smiling his front two teeth missing.
Titan kissed his forehead.
"Hey" he said to me.
I gave him a simple head nod.
After the boys ate they got ready to go. I took pictures of them as they stood on the front porch.
"Okay mommy no more" Tai said.
"Just one more schnuk" I said.
He looked at me.
"G smile so we can go" Taj said to him.
Tai sucked his teeth but did a small smile.
"A real one" Taj and I said at the same time.
I looked at Taj and then back at Tai.
He gave me a real smile. After a few more pictures I kissed them bye.
"I'll se y'all later okay" I said as I squatted down in front of them.
"Okay" Tai said messing with the necklace I had on.
"You be good and don't put your hands on anybody" I sad to him.
He looked at me "only if they hit me" he said.
I playfully rolled my eyes.
"Yes" I said.
He nodded and kissed my lips.
"I love you mommy" he said.
"I love you too, go head and have fun" I said.
He nodded.
"Aight let's go" Taj said to them.
I kissed Titan bye again and then stood up.
"I'll be back to come get Heiress and Tahir" he said.
"I'm taking them to your moms" I said.
"I gotta go there anyway so I'll take them" he said.
I nodded.
He got them in his truck and they drove off while I went in the house.
I cleaned my kitchen and went upstairs to pack a small bag for the youngest two.
Taj came back and I let him in.
"I haven't gotten them up I was just gonna put them straight in your car" I said.
