Tierra POV
Taj was currently out on bond but was facing 25 years for shooting and killing Vincent.
We hired the best lawyer and he was hard at work.
I sat on the edge of our bed and ran my fingers through my hair. We had just gotten back from a trial hearing and shit wasn't looking good.
Taj was claiming self defense but the d.a was trying to say it was unprovoked and was wanting the book to be thrown at him.
"Aight man thank you" Taj said as he stood by the dresser in the room on the phone with his lawyer.
"Fuck G" he said and launched his phone across the room.
I looked up at him.
"What is it now" I asked.
"They got a witness in protective custody. I got some people on it but he said it ain't looking good" Taj said.
"Taj I know I said I could when I was pregnant with Titan but I can't raise my sons without a father" I said shaking my head.
"And you won't" he said.
I stood up "Taj you're facing 25 fucking years, we have the best lawyer in the state and he saying it ain't looking good.
I fucking told you, this is why-" I said and stopped.
"This is why what" he asked.
I shook my head and tried to leave the room but he stepped in front of me.
"This is why what Tierra" he said.
I pushed him back "this is why I didn't want to do this. I ain't want to have to feel this pain again or have my kids go through this shit. I told you I went through this with my daddy Taj" I yelled.
He came and wrapped his arms around me as I cried. "Taj it hurts to fucking much" I cried as I hit his chest twice.
"I swear I got y'all and we gone get through this. I ain't going down without a fight. I got to much shit to loose" he said.
"You should've just let me handle it" I said.
"He tried to fucking hit you again right while I was there. I told you if he tried any shit again what was gonna happen. I don't regret that shit" he said.
"But look what it caused" I said looking up at him.
"Tierra I'm not going anywhere. If I gotta sit for a few months so be it but I ain't doing shit over a year I put that on my Granny" he said.
I shook my head "you can't determine that" I said.
He looked me dead in my eyes after letting me go.
"Watch me" he said.
With that he grabbed his car keys and left out the house.
I went to the bathroom to try and get myself together and ended up going to smoke a blunt.
The boys were at Taj grandparents house we had them over there more while the trial was going on.

I opened up my own strip club 'Eden where I have male dancers. We were still awaiting Taj conviction it felt like this case was just being dragged out.
I let Star one of my home girls growing up run the club. I have 5 men, Valentino, Diesel, Romeo, Ken, and Knight.
They are collectively known as then men of Eden. It was the only male strip club in the city so business was booming with that.
Tiara finally turned 18 so I allowed her to have her party there since that's what she wanted to do.
Taj was against it completely but I made sure it was appropriate and my guys didn't do or show to much.
After dropping her off home I went home to my man and our sons.
The house was quiet and dark which was expected for how late it was. So I quietly went upstairs.
I checked on the boys and they were asleep so I kissed their foreheads and went to me and Taj room.
He sat up on the edge of the bed.
"Where you going" I asked.
"I been waiting up for you. I saw you pulled up and I was gonna meet you downstairs but yo ass move so fast" he said.
"Oh" I said putting my wallet and phone on the dresser.
"You kept it cool for her right. Ion need my sister seeing all that. I don't know why I even agreed to let y'all do that shit for her" he said.
"First of wether you agreed or not it was gonna happen and secondly your sister ain't a virgin" I said.
"Tierra I told you until she has a kid shit even then she'll still be one" he said.
I rolled my eyes and went into our bathroom. I showered and did my night routine and then went back in the room.
"Come here" Taj said still in the same spot.
"What" I asked walking over to him in my robe as put some lotion on my hands and arms.
He pulled me the rest of the way by my waist.
"G don't ever walk in and not give me a kiss it makes me feel like you mad at me" he said looking up at me.
We kissed.
"I'm sorry just a lot in my mind" I said.
He rubbed on my ass "Tierra I told you it's gonna be okay, we gone be good" he said.
I sighed "I know but I'm just nervous" I said.
"I told you imma handle it, I ain't never lie before and I'm not about to start" he said.
I nodded.
"What's under here" he said uniting my robe.
"Now you know ain't shit under this robe" I said.
He opened it and rubbed on my back side. He kissed my stomach.
"Yes it is, a work of art" he said.
I blushed rolling my eyes.
"Come and let daddy do something them dancers can't do for you and better not ever try" he said standing picking me up.
"Before they lay next to Vincent" he said laying me on my back in the bed.
"Taj don't ever say that name in my damn house again let alone in my bedroom" I said.
"Our and okay" he said kissing down my stomach.
He held my legs up and I watched him kneel down at the edge of the bed.
"Shit" I said dropping my head back feeling his tongue.
