Tierra POV
We walked out of Jays college graduation ceremony. He graduated with a marketing degree in business.
I held Tahir who fell asleep during the ceremony and I held Tai hand.
It was us and Taj mom, his sister, Pops and Granny.
Once we met up with Jay, Taj and I gave him some money Lais and then we all took pictures and went out to dinner.
"So what's next" I asked Jay as he sat across from us.
"Time to get my clothing brand off the ground" he said.
I nodded smiling.
"Okay you gonna stay here or come back home" I asked.
"I'm coming back home, out here is cool but I miss home" he said.
"We know mamas boy" Taj said.
I looked at him.
"You surely ain't leave" I said to him.
"Someone gotta stay home and take care of the home front" he said.
I rolled my eyes and he kissed the side of my face. After dinner we went to our hotel.
Jay has an apartment here so Taj is going to help him move back to Chicago so he'll be here an extra two more days to drive back with Jay while the kids and I fly back with everyone else.
5 days later
"Jay did you close the gas thing" Taj said.
I sat on FaceTime with him.
He was letting me know that him and Jay are a few hours out from us.
They've been driving the last two days to get here from Virginia.
I know my man is going to be exhausted when he gets back. He's been doing most of the driving while Jay is working on his website.
He already had his clothing line that he started working on 2 years ago but he's been perfecting it and smoothing things out with it before releasing it.
"Nah I didn't" Jay said.
Taj looked so irritated.
He pulled over and Jay got out.
"I'll never do a drive like this with this nigga again. I could've did this shit myself" he said to me.
"Calm down okay you're almost home" I said to him.
"Ion even think I got anything rolled yet imma need a whole blunt when I get back, maybe two" he said.
"I'll roll you something I just have to get some wraps" I said.
"Look in my stash in my car I got some" he said.
"Okay" I said.
I got out of bed and went to the car.
The kids were with Granny and Pops today and tomorrow so I was home by myself.
I went and got some wraps and I rolled up four blunts.
I stayed on the phone with them until they pulled up to the house.
Jay was just waking up when Taj pulled up.
"Boog there's fresh linen and whatever else you need in the guest room for you" I said as they came into the house.
"Thanks sis" he said hugging me.
