ALEX'S POINT OF VIEW
"Get ready guys for the last scene, Riley, you will walk from there directly to Alex while Connor and Toby are closely following you behind." Rick said with the use of his megaphone to queue us for the last scene of the shoot.
We've been working for 7 hours straight, and I can say that it's been a good 7 hours. I get to bond with the guys, most especially Connor because he's the one who's mostly interested about what's going on in my life. He asked me if I am still studying, or if I like to listen to bands like them. Riley and Toby on the other hand had their fair share of questions but not as much as Connor.
I nodded at our director as he shouted a few more instructions before yelling "Action."

"Great work guys! Thanks for cooperating well and for accepting the short notice of the change in roles. You all did amazing today. I'll call you guys back if we have already made the final video." Rick said, telling all of us, the band, the crew and the extras how appreciative he is of the hard work we've shown today.
We all cheered, congratulated each other and just gave celebratory remarks towards each and everyone's performances.
Connor's walking towards me, about to say something when Riley walked past him. "Great work, Alex! You did a wonderful job!" Riley said, giving me a really surprising hug.
I hugged him back. "Thank you! It's such an honor working with you guys." I said, before pulling away.
Riley took one step away from me and accidentally stepped on Connor's foot. "Oh, sorry! Didn't see you there bro!" Riley said, giving Connor a pat on the shoulder. "I'll just head over there. Thanks again, Alex!" he added, waving as he walk away from us.
I waved back and looked at Connor immediately. "Sorry about him." He said, letting out a light laugh. "Anyway, you really did great today. Bianca sure knows what she's talking about when she said that you're the perfect replacement for her." He said, looking directly at me.
I let out a shy smile, feeling flattered of what he just said. "Really? Thanks. I was worried that you guys might think that I suck and that Bianca would be such a better fit for the video." I said, looking down.
"Nah." He said, motioning me to walk towards the tents. "I'm sure she's great, but you're also great. I mean?" He smiled, shrugging as he couldn't pick out the words to say.
I nodded. "Yeah. I get it. I couldn't thank you enough for all the support though. I know I wouldn't perform as great as you guys said without all your encouragement."
I saw him smile from the corner of my eyes. "Well, we-" He was cut off by his mom Joan who immediately pulled me away from him as we reach the tent.
"Hey, Alex. I heard you did great. The boys can't stop talking about how successful the video is." She said, removing the stray hair away from my face. I smiled at how motherly she already is to me.
I can't help but smile. "The boys have done most of the work, I just kind of stood and walked there like how I was told." I said, looking shyly at her. "They've guided me through all of it, and I'm sure it wouldn't be as successful as it was if they didn't offer to guide me."
Connor walked beside her mom as well as Toby. "Connor did most of the helping, though." Toby said, giving Connor a grin.
I giggled as Connor looked at Toby like he was about to punch him in the face. "Just kidding, bro." Toby followed, running off to where Riley is.
"Please forgive him. He's not usually this energetic." Connor said, running his hand in his hair.
"Hmm." Joan said, looking at Connor, then at me before walking away.
Connor shook his head. "Anyway.." he said, motioning to the chairs so we can both sit down. "Uhm, I know we just met, and I know it's kind of weird but, uhm." He said, letting out a sigh. "I've been in New York for quite a few times already, and I'm not sure if you have but if you want we can go out tomorrow and uh, I can show you around the city." He continued, looking at me faintly.
I smiled at him and shook my head, leaving him looking disappointed. "That's really nice of you, Connor. I'd love to go." I said. "But, I have to leave in the morning already, my parents are expecting me to be home tomorrow afternoon." I added, biting my lip.
He looked down and sighed before facing me. "So basically, I won't be seeing you again?" He asked.
I found him really sweet, and I would love to spend my time with him but I guess it's just not meant to be. "We can still see each other when you visit Arizona. Maybe you can visit me and Bianca. I'm sure she'll be coming home soon, and I'm sure she'd love to see you." I said.
I saw him look upset for a while but then he flashed me a weak smile. "Or you can visit us in Florida, or you can go to one of our tour dates where we have a show near Arizona or something."
"That could be done." I said. "Not sure about Florida though, my parents hardly let me go to places, let alone a different state. They only let me go this once because Bianca practically forced them to so I can be with her." I said, shaking my head.
We both smiled. "Well maybe I can force them too. Not to see Bianca, but to see me." He said, smiling at me before looking down at the ground, leaving us both silent for a while.
