Last night's happenings were still very fresh in my mind the moment my alarm woke me up. I buried my head on my pillow, screaming for a bit as I let my anger and frustrations out.

Every time I close my eyes, all I can see is Connor's once bright blue eyes looking at me in anger. I can't get off my mind all the things he said and basically how he acted last night towards me and even towards his brothers. I didn't expect he will turn out to be someone like that.

I let a single tear fall and just shook my head as I sit up and check my phone.

5 missed calls from Toby McDonough, 2 missed calls from Riley McDonough and

3missed calls from Connor McDonough

Great, I mumbled to myself. I threw my phone on my back as I stood up and decide to take a bath.

I immediately put on my black high-waist shorts and turquoise muscle shirt and went downstairs, basically to repeat my same old routine.

Left for an emergency medical mission in Tempe with mom! Be back tomorrow. -Dad

I sighed as I finished reading the note that is placed on the dining table. I can't wait for the time I get to work again. Maybe if I burry myself in work, I'll forget about him once again, just like what I basically did before.

"Chris!" I shouted for my brother, but no one responds. Great, still all alone.

I don't have anything planned for today and I basically have no guts to come out of my house, terrified I might have an encounter with Connor again.

As I was waiting for my pizza to heat up in the microwave, my phone rang.

"Hey, Tobes." I said the moment I answered the call.

I can hear that he took a breath before speaking up. "How are you? We haven't heard anything from you after-"

"I'm fine." I said, lying. *Ding!* "You don't have to worry about me, Toby." I added as I take out my pizza from the microwave.

"Don't be so stubborn, Alex. Not today. Riley and I have been talking non-stop about you." He said, and I can feel the sincerity in his voice. It's actually the first time I have heard Toby like that, or just basically feel his pity towards me.

I let out a faint smile. "I'll just have to talk about that next time." I said, walking towards the living room. "How's Riley, by the way?" I asked, worried that something might have happened between him and Connor.

"He says his fine. Him and Connor haven't been talking since last night, though."

I took a bite of my pizza and took a while to respond. "How about him?" I asked gently.

"I can't believe you're still worrying about him." Toby said.

I sighed. "I just want to know if he's okay." I said, biting my lower lip.

"I don't know. He hasn't come out of his room yet."

"Oh okay. Hey Tobes, I have to go. Tell Riley I'm fine and I hope he is too." I said, and I heard Toby say his goodbye before I end the call.

Playing my guitar has always been my form of escape from this cruel world. When I play, I forget all the things bothering me for a while and just get lost into the music that I play. Same goes whenever I sing, I feel so liberated whenever I do it.

It took me a while to sing a song and I chose to just strum my guitar and randomly play a few chords. I tried figuring out the chords to Suitcase, but eventually failed. So I decided to just play one of the songs that has been so close to my heart; I Won't Let Go by Rascall Flats.
