Meanwhile, back at the party, as the other five were settling in for the night, Namjoon snapped the phone shut fast and just looked at Jin who was a trying so hard to not scream and cry loudly but couldn't quite pick himself off the floor before barely managing to.
His parents were looking at him proudly.
"What have you done!?" Jin screeched at Namjoon before saying quietly, "This wasn't the plan,"
"It had to be done my way," Namjoon said.
"My Jungkookie, he hates me,"
"Good,"
"What? Joon?"
"You will marry who I say you'll marry," Namjoon started, "This company will be trusted to me, I will run it as I see fit, and YOU WILL DO AS I SAY, You will Marry Who I say you marry, and you will do it with a 'please' and a 'thank you' with no complaints,"
"How could you?"
"Very easily, Father was right, business is business, and we will make this empire grow,"
"Oh, Namjoon, I am so proud of you my boy, strong, smart, and you got the land from that wrench and his grandson," Mr. Kim said as his mother hugged him.
Namjoon only half-heartedly returned the favor.
"So, my boy, plans on expansion? What will we do now?" Mr. Kim asked, he was feeling giddy now about what could be done and the potential of billions of won coming into the company and his pockets.
"You trust me with the company, yeah? This is what I trained for?"
"Of course, and seeing as you will whip your ridiculous brother and his dreams of marrying an unworthy soulmate into shape, I have no doubt you will lead well, so, who do you have in mind for his marriage? Someone who can help him sire some children?"
"Biologically, sadly, no, but they can always get a surrogate,"
"Joon!?" Jin started.
"SHUT UP! YOU'RE WEAK, JIN, WEAK, I HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO RUN THIS EMPIRE AND I WILL RUN IT WELL, SO BE QUIET! TWO TAPS IS ALL IT TAKES!" Namjoon bellowed making Jin silent.
"So, who do you have in mind?" Mr. Kim asked.
"I found someone really good, but if my assumptions are correct, he will enter the military shortly to get it done and out of the way so that he can focus on the business as he wants with no interruptions, after all that and when he's back, you can meet him in person, as for me, I thrive on being alone, for now, I have no desire to meet anyone, so don't bother me with it ,"
"And that Farm Boy?"
"Taken care of, he won't be a bother to me anymore,"
"Good,"
"Well, we should say goodbye to Mrs. Choi, and the drivers need to take you two back to the airport to return to Daegu, I have some things to do at home and Jin WILL be joining me,"
"I trust you to do it,"
"Father, I also have some documents I need you to sign too, about the takeover from Grandpa,"
"I'll sign it first thing back,"
"Good, it's just about me taking over,"
"I figured, I'll just sign it, I won't bother reading it, you have proven shrewd enough for me,"
Namjoon just nodded his head as he went with his family to bid farewell to Mrs. Choi.
"Well, this dinner was interesting," he said to Mrs. Choi, "Thank you,"
"Thank you for coming, I'm guessing you're the new Chairman? Owner?" Mrs. Choi said.
"CEO, Chairman will remain my grandfather for now as is his ownership, but he won't be allowed to lead or do anything in or for the company unless I say so, he needs a retirement of some sort and I'm not that heartless,"
"Fine, fine,"
"Plus, I plan to be Chairman of the Board, have some people I trust on the Board, time for a change anyway, not important for a family reunion, I'm sorry we made it about us,"
"It was entertaining, and it was good to see my sister realize what a failure her family is, well, at least the type of failure her eldest son is,"
"Yeah, I'm sure, have a good evening," Namjoon said as he did a small bow and the motioned for Jin to join him.
The two walked briskly to the car and got in.
Namjoon looked at Jin and said to him, "Start the engine,"
"What? Am I your driver now?" Jin snapped.
"Always have been, drive here," Namjoon said as he showed an address on his phone.
"Joon? No, what?"
"Just drive there,"
"Joon?"
"We are going there and we're going to discuss YOUR future, no complaints, now DRIVE,"
Jin just did as he was told.
