Chapter 93: The experiments

It is night time with rumbling thunder follow by drops of rain pours down at New Metropolis. The city that was once a new beginning of hope turn to corruption and injustice. Citizens were given strict rules to follow and if any of them would to break these rules then they will be gone.

The citizens live in a rough life as they wall through the streets of New Metropolis. Some have their homes been taking by G.U.N and have to live in the streets or alleyways. G.U.N drones flies around the city, searching for any crimes or any rebellion.

We then see Maria in the abandon Hotel building not far to the G.U.N HQ. She looks at from the window only to hide when a G.U.N bot appear in front of the window.

The G.U.N bot scans the window and then flies away. Maria sighs just as Shadow Teleported into the room.

Maria: (smile) Shadow.

Shadow: You okay?

Maria: (smile) I'm doing fine. Being a spy within a dangerous city is not as easy as I can imagine.

Shadow: Want me to teleport you to Sky Patrol where it is safe?

Maria: No thanks. After all you needed someone to hack into the G.U.N files and I'm your best bet.

Shadow: (smile) Sure you are.

Then Shadow noticed something out of the window and looks out then sees it. A line up of trucks containing something mysterious inside drove around back and enters the garage.

Shadow: Rouge, your up.

Rouge: (radio) I see it.

(Meanwhile)

We then cut to Rouge standing on the metal railing above the G.U.N garage as she looks down and sees trucks going in.

She watch as the trucks were parked and G.U.N soldiers walk over, open the trailers and loud out containers to what seems like mysterious purple gas.

Rouge follows them to see where they are taking them to. We see them walking through a long hallway with Rouge using the vent above them to follow them.

She crawl through the vent then spot when the G.U.N soldiers stop at a door. A soldier place down his card onto the scanner then once turn green the door open and they walked through.

Before the doors close Rouge exit out of the vent ans swoops over and made it through.

Rouge: (smirk) Perfect timing.

She looks over and then hides within the darkness to see the G.U.N soldiers dropping off the containers within what seems like a laboratory.

Once dropped off they make their leave. Rouge hides until they were completely out of the room. Rouge heads over to the containers and looks at them.

Rouge: Looks like more of these mysterious purple gas. I wonder why they needed that much?

Shadow: (radio) Nothing good.

Then Rouge puts on see three glasses to see if there is anything secret in the laboratory. She scan around then spotted something surprising, a secret door and behind it was a massive room.

Rouge: Found a secret entrance to what looks like alarge room.

Maria: (radio) Maybe that's where the rest of the mysterious gas is being kept?

Rouge: I have a feeling its not.

She walks over then spotted some files so she take one qns reads through the file.

Rouge: Well this is interesting. This gas is something of a drug that increases the users strength, sigh and toughness.

Maria: (radio) Are they trying to create super soldiers?
