"Well ladies and gentlemen that concludes our second year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry." James said.
Brooklyn sat with Jack, Remus, James, Peter and Sirius in a compartment on the train back to King's Cross Station. They had all just finished up their second year at Hogwarts as James had stated.
"Brooklyn how do you feel about your first full year at Hogwarts?" James asked, pretending to hold out a microphone.
"I feel pretty good." Brooklyn spoke into the pretend microphone. "I think I passed with pretty good grades."
"Brooklyn says she passed with pretty good grades but she nearly has an outstanding in every class." James spoke to the invisible fourth wall. "Remus, how do you feel about ending your second year at Hogwarts?"
"I cannot wait to come back." Remus said. "Especially to see what comes next in our academic future."
"Boring answers for the viewers." James said.
"What viewers, James?" Brooklyn asked. "You are just pretending."
"She didn't mean that." James said. "Jack, my French guy, how do you feel about ending your first full year at Hogwarts?"
"I absolutely love Hogwarts." Jack said. "Although I cannot wait for the summer off to spend it with my favorite people."
Jack was staying at the Potter estate during the summer since his parents were in the middle of a divorce.
"Peter, your turn, how do you feel about second year ending?" James asked.
"I hate school!" Peter said. "Although I do think it is better than a muggle alternative. We get to learn about spells and they get to learn about math."
"Very wise Peter." James said. "Sirius, my boy, I did not forget about you. Thoughts?"
"It fucking sucked." Sirius said.
Someone had his panties in a twist.
"Woah, Sirius." James said. "Tone down the language, this is only a pg film."
"Get out of my face, James." Sirius said. "I don't want this right now. Talk to me again in thirty minutes."

James did in fact bother Sirius in thirty minutes. It ended with James and Sirius fighting and Brooklyn had to break them up. Brooklyn is possibly the only person James and Sirius would listen to.
Brooklyn gathered all her belongings and waited for Jack and James. She said her goodbyes to Remus and Peter before heading off to go see her parents.
"There are my two babies!" Euphemia exclaimed. "I am so excited to have you guys at home."
"We're so excited to be home mom." Brooklyn smiled and gave her mom a hug.
"Don't think we forgot about you, Jack." Fleamont said.
He pulled Jack into a hug and Brooklyn swore Jack almost started crying.
"Now, shall we go home?" Fleamont asked.
"Yes please." James said. "I need a good dinner. And a nice long bath."
"Of course you do, James." Euphemia said, playfully rolling her eyes.
It wasn't long before they arrived at the Potter estate.
"Brooklyn!" Jonathan cried happily.
He ran to Brooklyn and tackled her into a hug.
"Oh, Johnny, I missed you." Brooklyn said, returning the hug to her little brother.
"Not as much as I missed you!" Jonathan exclaimed. "Hi Jamie!"
"Hey bud." James said, kneeling down to Jonathan's height.
The two exchanged in a quick hug before Jonathan turned his attention to Jack.
"Jack!" Jonathan exclaimed.
Jonathan ran up to Jack and Jack picked Jonathan up.
"There are too many J names in this house." Euphemia chuckled. "We have James, Jonathan, and Jack."
"I can't believe Jack gets a better reaction." James said. "I'm only his sibling."
"Yeah but he only has one Jack." Brooklyn said. "And I love my Jack too."
Brooklyn wrapped her arms around Jack who was still holding Jonathan.
"Kids!" Fleamont called from the kitchen. "Dinner!"
James and Jonathan ran towards the kitchen.
"What a bunch of fatties." Jack said as he and Brooklyn slowly walked to the kitchen.
The Potters – and Jack – sat around their huge dining room table and began to pass the food around. Fleamont had the house elves prepare lots of dishes for the twins' coming home meal. It was all their favorite dishes including fettuccine alfredo, cajun pasta, and mashed potatoes. Jack was a big fan of the mashed potatoes.
"So, Brooklyn, did you enjoy the school year?" Euphemia asked.
"Yes, mom, I did." Brooklyn said. "It was really nice to be able to have James there when I had panic attacks or anxiety attacks. It helped that we nearly had the same schedule too."
"That is great, I'm glad." Euphemia said. "What about you, Jack?"
"I really enjoyed Hogwarts." Jack said. "Although I do prefer summer, I can't wait to go back next year. I really do enjoy everything about Hogwarts and it's nice that Brooklyn is here too. I don't think I could survive James on my own."
"Jack, do you have a crush on anyone?" Euphemia asked.
"Mom!" Brooklyn exclaimed. "You can't just go around and ask if someone has a crush! Especially my friends!"
"No, she's okay." Jack said. "However, Mrs. Potter, I do not have a crush on anyone. Nobody has interested me."
"Oh well, there's always next year." Euphemia said. "What about you James?"
She knew Jack was gay and fully supported him as did Fleamont.
"Oh lord." Brooklyn said. "Yes he does have a crush and it's on my roommate/best friend!"
"Tell me about this girl, James." Fleamont said.
"She has red hair, like Brooke's." James said. "But her hair is better looking than Brooke's. And beautiful green eyes. Her name is the most beautiful thing you have ever heard – Lily Evans. It has such a nice ring."
"Ugh, mom, why did you have to get him all worked up?" Brooklyn asked, disgusted.
"Don't be jealous Brooke!" James said. "You're just jealous that I've got a hottie."
"What about you, Brooklyn?" Fleamont asked. "Do you have a crush?"
"No." Brooklyn replied.
"No, but someone may like her!" James said.
"Oh?" Euphemia asked, raising a brow. "And who might this be?"
"Cody Jefferson." James said. "He's in his third year, now fourth. He's the seeker on our quidditch team and has lately been eyeing Brooklyn up."
"Do you like him back?" Euphemia wondered.
"No!" Brooklyn said. "He doesn't even like me and I don't like him! James, you're forbidden from talking on my behalf."
James raised his hands in defense as Brooklyn threw a dinner roll at him. That night was the first of many that ended up being good.
