"Does anyone want to go to Hogsmeade with me?" Brooklyn asked the boys.

"Sirius and I are going out with some ladies." James smirked.

"I highly doubt that." Brooklyn said. "The only date you both have is with Zonko's."

"Peter, Jack and I are going to go to the Three Broomsticks then some other shops." Remus said.

"Okay, so nobody wants to go with me." Brooklyn said. "Well that's fine, I guess I'll just owl Molly and ask her to meet up with me. Even bring my godchildren."

"Did we hear Molly?" Fabian and Gideon chorused.

"Yes." Brooklyn said. "I am lucky to call Bill and Charlie my godchildren. I'm glad Molly chose me instead of you goofs."

"Eh, we'll be the other kids' godparents." Fabian smirked.

"What makes you so sure that Molly is going to have more kids?" Brooklyn asked.

"She wants a girl." Gideon said. "She is not going to stop until she has a girl."

"Watch her have four more boys before getting a girl." Brooklyn joked.

"Wanna bet on it?" Fabian asked.

"Let's go Prewett." Brooklyn said.

The two shook each other's hands, locking in the deal.

"Morning Lily." Marlene said, yawning.

"Morning Marlene." Lily replied. "Would you mind waking Brooklyn up? We need to get ready to go to Hogsmeade."

"Wake up babes!" Marlene said as she shook Brooklyn slightly. "Today is the first Hogsmeade trip!"

"I don't want to wake up." Brooklyn groaned.

"C'mon baby girl." Marlene said. "You have to wake up. You promised Molly you would go with her."

"Fine." Brooklyn grumbled as she sat up.

Brooklyn swung her legs over the side of the bed. She got up and turned around to make her bed. Where she was laying was a huge pile of blood on the sheets. Brooklyn looked over her body only to realize that the blood was coming from her private area.

"AHHHH!" Brooklyn screamed, causing Marlene and Lily to look at her. "I'm bleeding! I'm going to die!"

"Honey, you just got your period." Marlene said.

"Brooklyn, this is a pad." Lily said. "You peel off the backings and stick it to your underwear. Then you take the wings and stick them to the outside of your underwear. There are plenty of pads underneath the sink because they automatically refill them."

With a wave of her wand, Lily made the blood on Brooklyn's bed and clothes disappear. Brooklyn walked into the bathroom and shut the door. Marlene and Lily burst into a fit of giggles, happy that their best friend had finally become a woman. Alice and Nailea were in the common room when all this commotion was going on.

Brooklyn came out of the bathroom, dressed in dark blue jeans and a red cable knit sweater.

"How do I look?" Brooklyn asked.

Marlene and Lily turned around and their faces lit up at the sight of Brooklyn.

"You are so sexy." Marlene giggled.

"You look good!" Lily said.

"We should probably get going, shouldn't we?" Brooklyn asked.

Brooklyn walked into The Three Broomsticks, looking around for Molly. She spotted Molly and made her way over there. Bill leapt from his seat at the sight of Brooklyn.

"Auntie Brooklyn!" Bill exclaimed as Brooklyn picked him up and placed him on her hip.

"How's my godson?" Brooklyn asked, beaming at the little kid.

"Good!" Bill answered. "Charlie's sleeping."

"Oh really?" Brooklyn asked.

Bill nodded sheepishly.

Molly got up and gave Brooklyn a hug.

"It is so nice to see you darling." Molly said as the two sat down.

"It is very nice to see you again, Molly." Brooklyn said. "How's Charlie?"

"He's doing great!" Molly said. "Almost a year old, can you believe it?"

"It seems like just yesterday he was born." Brooklyn said. "How old are you going to be, Bill?"

"Three." Bill replied.

After The Three Broomsticks, they made their way to Honeydukes where Brooklyn brought Bill a cauldron cake.

"I wish Charlie wasn't so young." Brooklyn said. "I could've brought him some candy too."

Bill was sleeping in Brooklyn's arms.

"You are so good to them." Molly said. "You bought Charlie so many clothes when he was born that I didn't know where to put them all. You're not just good to them, you're also good to me. On my birthday you bought me a ring that must've cost hundreds."

"That ring wasn't as expensive as I expected it to be." Brooklyn said. "It protects you–"

"Against hexes." Molly finished. "Yes, I know. You keep mentioning that."

"I'm sorry." Brooklyn said. "I have the tendency to repeat things over and over again. I just can't help it sometimes. I tend to talk a lot once I'm comfortable as well."

"I never once thought that you spoke too much." Molly said. "You are the brightest witch of your age. I've never met someone as smart and as lovely as you."

"Thank you Molly." Brooklyn blushed. "You don't have to say those things."

"You're right." Molly said. "I don't have to say them but I want to."

"Oh, I love you Molly." Brooklyn engulfed Molly in a hug.
