The next day, Brooklyn awoke in Lily's dorm. She yawned as she stretched her arms out. She took a look around at the sleeping girls in their beds. Lily had introduced them to her the night before.

Marlene and Nailea McKinnon were twins. They both had natural blonde hair. Nailea had green eyes whereas Marlene had blue eyes. They were fraternal twins but you could tell that they were related in some way. Alice Fortescue was a brunette girl with brown eyes. She was extremely kind. Lily had the girls do icebreakers so that they could get to learn about each other more.

There was a light knock on the window. Brooklyn's owl Zeus was outside holding a letter. She opened the window and allowed Zeus in. She took the letter from Zeus's mouth and opened it. It was a letter from Jack asking her to meet him in the common room in ten minutes.

Brooklyn took this as an opportunity to tour the school a little more and quickly got dressed. She wore her Beauxbatons uniform like usual with her hair in a half up half down style. She put on her combat boots to complete the look.

Brooklyn walked down the stairs that were outside the dorm and took her time to get to the common room. Jack was sitting on the red couch, looking at the fireplace. He seemed to be deep in thought.

"Are you ready?" Brooklyn asked, trying to not startle Jack.

"Oh, yeah I'm ready," Jack answered.

Jack stood up and smiled at Brooklyn. The two then headed out of the common room to go explore the castle. Brooklyn loved Hogwarts already.

"We're lost," Brooklyn stated.

"No we're not!" Jack said.

"Yes we are!" Brooklyn exclaimed.

"No we aren't!"

"Fine then, Mr. Navigator, where are we?"

"We're uh, we're uh, right here," Jack said, rubbing the back of his neck.

"And where is here exactly?"

"Yeah, we're lost." Jack admitted.

"Told you," Brooklyn said, with a hint of attitude.

"Jack, Brooklyn, what are you doing down here?" Sirius Black asked, walking up to the two Beauxbaton students.

"Well we were walking, touring the castle, on our own when Jack got us lost," Brooklyn said.

"I did not get us lost!" Jack exclaimed.

"Yes you did!"

"Alright, alright," Sirius said. "No fighting on my watch. I'm Sirius Black and I will be your tour guide today."

"Tour guide?" Brooklyn chuckled.

"Yes, right now we are going to be headed to the Great Hall for breakfast." Sirius answered. "You might have missed breakfast. The start to a good day is with breakfast, obviously."

"I think a good start to the day is reading, not eating." Brooklyn said.

"You're an odd one, you know that right?" Sirius asked.

"Odd? How am I odd?"

"You like reading," Sirius said.

"So? Remus likes reading too, doesn't make him odd, so it shouldn't make me odd. Reading is good for you and beneficial." Brooklyn snapped.

"Okay," Sirius said, holding his hands up. Jack chuckled at Brooklyn snapping at Sirius.

Sirius led Brooklyn and Jack to the Great Hall where James and Remus were waiting for the three.

"Oi! Brooke, where have you been?" James asked. "And why are you with Sirius?"

"Jack and I got lost and Sirius found us," Brooklyn answered.

"Oh, where'd you guys go?" James asked.

"I found them down by the dungeons," Sirius said.

"What were you doing by the dungeons?" James asked.

"Well this girl..."

"Nope!" James interrupted. "Never mind!"

"It's not like we did anything. I was just helping her study," Sirius said. "We're too young to have sex."

"Well, now I'm uncomfortable." Brooklyn said, disgusted.

"Yeah, me too," Jack said.

"Well, it's the truth." Sirius shrugged.

"Yeah, it may be the truth, but I'm still grossed out." Brooklyn said.

"Yeah, my little sister can't hear the mature words that come out of that mouth of yours!" James said.

"I'm not that much younger than you!" Brooklyn exclaimed, huffing.

"Just eat your breakfast, Brooke," James responded, putting a pancake on her plate.

Brooklyn huffed at her brother and pushed the plate away from her.

"Brooke, you gotta eat." James said.

"Yeah, well I'm not feeling well right now, so I'm not hungry." Brooklyn said.

"You sure you're not just trying to get out of eating?" James asked, whispering in Brooklyn's ear.

"Yeah, I'm sure James." Brooklyn whispered back.

Sirius glanced at Brooklyn and admired her beauty as she went to read her book. He'd only known her for a couple of days, but he was already falling for her. She was stunningly beautiful. Even when she thought she looked bad, she always looked good in his eyes.

"Brooklyn?" Sirius asked. Brooklyn looked up from her book and at Sirius.

"Yeah?" Brooklyn replied.

"What book are you reading?" Sirius asked as he avoided his plan to tell her that she was beautiful.

"I'm reading The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien. It's really good so far. I'm two hundred pages in, so about two thirds of the book."

"Would you recommend reading it?"

"Yeah. It's very interesting and there's another book series after this. It's about the main character's nephew and the adventures he takes." Brooklyn answered.

Brooklyn looked happy and at peace. This made Sirius smile at Brooklyn as he adored her beauty.

"Sorry to break up this book club, but we gotta get going." James said, tapping the two on the shoulder.

"Oh yeah," Brooklyn said looking at her watch. "I guess we'll continue this later."

"I'll be looking forward to it." Sirius responded.
