Chapter forty four.

That afternoon, I went back to check up on Hanna, still the same but her classmates were there. "Aunt Susana." Jenny said before hugging me.

"I'm really sorry about Hanna, you must have felt devastated to come all the way here, just like I did." she said before pulling away. "Yeah I did." I said still in loss of words. I checked the time and it was past six.

"Why don't you kids go home, it's way six already." I said to them and they all nodded. "I'm glad that Hanna has good friend, keeps me at peace." I said acknowledging how good they were, everyday after school, visiting her, praying for her to wake up.

"Thank you aunt Susan." Jenny said before the three of them went out, I sighed, my phone began ringing, I checked the caller ID and it was my husband. "Hey honey." I said looming at him through the phone, it was a video call.

"Hi honey, how are you?" he asked and I nodded. "What about Hanna? How's her condition?" he asked and I switched the camera so he could see her lying on the bed and then back to me, "It is worse then I thought, I don't know what to do." I said, my voice cracked.

"She's going to be alright Okay, for us and her friends." he said and I nodded, we spoke a little and then hung up, the door to the room opened and Tamara walked in.

   Tamara.

I walked inro the room to find my sister there, she turned to me. "What are you doing here?" She asked me, her voice was void of emotions.

"What do you mean, I'm here to see my daughter." I said to her, she just rolled her eyes before sitting down, I walked towards the bed, I saw Hanna,  she was there, my heart sank, want have I done? What have I done? I have taken this too far. I was speechless, the only thing that was in my mind was how useless of a mother I am.

"See what I was talking about, even if you beg for forgiveness, what makes you think she'll listen, all the pain, loneliness you've caused her." Susan said, her words sinking deep into my soul, she was right, whould she consider me a mother even if she wakes up. Just like when she was fourteen, I took Claire to the park because she was just recovering leaving Hanna home alone.

She called me frantically but I wasn't with my phone, when I got home she had passed out, I took her to the hospital and it took weeks for her to wake up, even when she did, I wasn't there, no one was there with her.

I turned around and walked out of the hospital straight home, I wasn't feeling good, when I got home Claire welcomed me. "Mum where the hell did you go? I need money to buy some snacks." She said to me.

"Why? Why did you do it to your sister?" I asked. "Mum what do you mean?" she asked me. "What did you do to your sister? She's lying down in the hospital lifless Claire what were you thinking." I said, my voice was a bit high.

"Mum why are you shouting at me, I told you I didn't mean to, you don't know how I get bullied in school for not being as smart as Hanna, all the words they said to me, I kept them hidden from you guys because I didn't want to worry you, I sorry for what I did do Hanna, I was just acted on anger." Claire said, tears started pouring from her eyes.

"I'm sorry, I know you hate me, I know you'll stop loving me, it's Okay o deserve it but please don't make me feel bad, I also suffered to." she said pulling the sleeves of my clothes to reveal red marks on my hand, my eyes widen. "What happened to you?" I asked as I held her hand.

"This is what they did to me" she said more tears falling from her eyes. "why didn't you tell me?" I asked her but she didn't say anything. "I'm sorry for shouting at you, of course I love you, you're my angel." I said pulling her into a hug.

"Really?" she asked and I nodded, I wiped the tears from her eyes, scolding myself for allowing her to cry, what she did to her sister was bad but I can not imagine what she must have gone through in school.
