Sarah.

Chapter thirty five.

  Dominic.

"Hi Dom." Miss Gemma walked towards me with a smile. "Hi." I simply said. "How do you like your new partner?" she asked me. "She's bearable." I said. "Um.. Okay, I'm expecting to see a very bright work from my two smart students." she said to me and I just nodded.

    "Very well then." she concluded before walking into a class while I walked to my class, Kai was already seated and I sat beside him. "how was yesterday with Hanna?" Kai asked. "why is everyone asking that question, of course it was fine." I said already getting fed up by the questions I keep on getting.

     "Hope your family didn't react too much, you know, first time having a new girl over." Kai said. "that's not the first time she's been to my house so it's not a big deal." I said and Kai's eyes widen, oh shoot I forgot to tell him about that incident. "Wow Dominic, are we like keeping things from each other, how come you did not tell me that Hanna has been to your house before." Kai said.

    "Keep your voice down before I make you." I said in a low tune. "How and when did it happen?" Kai asked me. "when she was drunk, Saturday party, she couldn't tell me her address so she had to spend the night." I said. "Oh my god, Night! So you guys what made out or something?" Kai said and I swear I was going to pull out his tongue. I glared at him, he was seriously getting on my nerves.

    "maybe not but wow Dom, you've evolved." Kai said with a smile on his face, I just shook my head and relaxed it on the table. The whole day went by in a blur and honestly, I was satisfied. Kai and I walked out of the school's building together, he has to meet Jenny in a cafe while I was going home.

    When I got home, I was in a big surprise, I walked into the living room, my family where there with Sarah and her family, as soon as she saw me, she ran to hug me but I moved to the other side making it impossible. "Dominic, hi, it's been long since I've spoken to you." Sarah said and I almost cried, hearing her voice made me want to disappear.

    "What is going on here?" I asked, my voice wasn't the best at times like this, mom noticed and she walked towards me. "Why don't you take a nice shower and later you can come down." Mom said and I just nodded. "He must be tired from school, he just need to freshen up." My mom explained to Sarah's mum who smiled in return, I walked upstairs to my room.

      I took a shower and dressed into loose fitted clothes, my hair was a bit wet so I dried it, I turned to look at Sarah staring at me. "what are you doing here?" I asked her, my voice deepened. "oh come on Dom, it's not the first time I've been in your room." Sarah said, her hands touched everything it came in contact with.

     Her hands touched a book. "Who owns this?, it is certainly not your handwriting." Sarah said, flipping through each page. "Give me that." I said taking the book from her and placing it on the table, I did not want to tell her that it was Hanna's.

    "Come now, let's have dinner." She said before walking out of my room, o sighed, Sarah and I had a long history, we've been friends since childhood only because our parents are friends. She stuck on me like glue and now she said she likes me and I don't, I've told her many times but she couldn't listen. I walked down the stairs, they were sited round the table and I sat down too.

     "Dominic, still has handsome as ever, are you single?" Sarah's mum martha said, she was such a pokenoser. "He's single, Dominic isn't ready for a relationship now, he's focusing on his books." My mum said. "what, nonsense, a boy like him should be married to a nice girl, books can wait." Martha said.

    "Yeah but..." A knock on the door was what interrupted my mum. Dana quickly ran to open the door. "Hanna!" she said before hugging her, I'm quite surprised, Dana dosen't really move quite well with people especially Sarah but she acts so free around Hanna. They both walked inside but she stopped short seeing the full house. "Hanna, what are you doing here?" Sarah said.

    "Who's this?" Martha said, she wasn't quite pleased to see her. "Hanna dear, why don't you wait upstairs in Dom's room and he'll meet you shortly after." My mom said casually fixing her hair behind her ears, Hanna only nodded. "Let's go." Dana said. "Dana! Come eat your food." Judy told her. "But I'm not hungry." Dana replied.

    "Wait are you replacing me with Hanna, that's not fair." Judy said in a rather childish tone. "Maybe and Maybe not, let's go Hanna to my room." She whispered to my room in my ears so no one will hear, I only nodded and followed her.

    "I don't understand Dom, what is Hanna doing here and was she here yesterday? That book in your room it's hers right?" Sarah said, she acted so over possesive. "Sarah we're both doing our project." I said to here. "So, that doesn't explain why she was here, in your room at night." Sarah said. "Aren't you supposed to be handling a project?" I asked her.

   "Me project? No way! I payed my team mate to do it for me, I can't stress myself like that, and you should do that to Hanna, she's poor so she could use the money for something, let's hang out together instead." Sarah said, something about what she said did not sit well with me.

    "That's not nice." I said. "Oh Dom! Come with me, I have a lot to tell you." She said wrapping her hands around mine before walking out of the dining room, she knew how to do things that I couldn't refuse.
