"Here, Cale, you can wear this for now." Jiwoo gave Cale some of his clothes.

Cale thanked him and left the room to change.

Kayden looked up at Jiwoo, "you're going to allow him to stay?" He asked.

"Do you not want him to?" Jiwoo asked back, innocently.

Kayden looked away, "no," perhaps he was embarrassed from his inner thoughts.

Jiwoo smiled brightly, "it's more lively with more company. It feels strange, I've never had anyone over at my place, especially friends."

"Who said I was your friend?!" Kayden shouted, angrily.

Jiwoo chuckled.

Creak...

"I'm finished." Cale walked back inside the room, wearing clothes. It was almost the perfect fit, since Jiwoo was quite a skinny kid.

"You look great, Cale!" Jiwoo praised him almost immediately.

He was wearing light colored clothing, which highlighted his vibrant red hair, even making him look more like an angel.

"Why don't you transform back to a human too, Kayden?" Cale asked.

Kayden flinched, snapping out of his daydreams, "I.. don't have enough power to do so yet." He sounded embarrassed, he didn't want to reveal his weakness.

Cale nodded, understanding.

"We should buy you clothes some other time." Jiwoo suggested.

"Alright." Cale agreed. This boy always had money on him, but where did it come from? He didn't even work. "I'm heading to bed." Cale walked off.

"In the middle of the day?" Kayden asked.

"Maybe because he had been a cat for so long."

"How long has he been with you?" Kayden asked, walking to sit over at the couch.

Jiwoo took a moment to think, "around a month...?"

"And you haven't found out?"

"N- no..." Jiwoo flustered. "Well.. I thought it was unusual how he acted like a human, but I never really thought about it."

Kayden was dumbfounded, how clueless was this child?

Cale woke up the next morning, yawning and stretching in bed.

"Good morning."

Cale looked over to the voice, it wasn't Jiwoo, it was Kayden. "Good morning." Cale greeted back, awkwardly. 'How long has he been there? Shouldn't he be with the other cats? Where's Jiwoo?'

"Jiwoo is at school right now." Kayden unknowingly answered one of Cale's questions.

'I almost forgot he's still a kid.' Cale yawned lazily. He lifted his hand, looking at his fingers, 'I'm still a human.' Cale asked, "how long can I stay as a human? Doesn't it wear off?"

"No, if you do what you did yesterday, then you'll turn back. If you don't, you'll stay in your current form." Kayden answered.

Cale nodded. 'Should I go back to sleep? It's peaceful.'

Kayden got up, "you can't go to sleep." He jumped off the bed.

"Why?"

"Let me observe your powers."

Cale lifted an eyebrow, "can't you do that while I'm asleep?"

Kayden blushed into a red hue, "why would I do that to a sleeping person?!"

Cale didn't know why he was so worked off, he was always being observed even when he slept due to his family's extensive care. "I'm fine with that." Cale plopped back onto the bed, shutting his eyes.

"..." Kayden watched him. 'Does he have no sense of security?' He jumped back onto the bed, walking next to Cale, he continued to observe, but not for that unknown power. Kayden walked next to his head, sitting down silently.
