Cale fed Jiwoo another healing potion, but it didn't seem to be enough. 'He's still in pain...' Cale frowned.

The injuries sub stained on his arms needed more treatment. The potion only minimized the pain.

'Is it because they were obtained from infusing energy into it...?' Cale could still feel traces of awakener power.

Kayden, who was back in his cat form, watched him feed the potion. 'What is that bottle?' He wondered. It had been twice that Cale used it to heal Jiwoo and it was very much effective, more so than any healer. Then he snapped, 'why's he making that face?' "What's wrong?" He asked.

"Jiwoo's still in pain." Cale explained.

Kayden stepped forward, "let me check." He climbed onto Jiwoo's chest, placing his paw on his heart. He then closed his eyes, focusing.

A wind entered the room.

The cats nearby gasped, being pushed away by the wind.

Kayden opened his eyes, furrowing his brows, frustrated.

The wind stopped as Kayden lifted his paw.

"What is it?" Cale asked, a bit nervous.

"His core is broken."

'Core?' Cale questions. But then he remembered when Kayden was teaching Jiwoo, 'the core controls and regulates an awakener's ability...'

Kayden frowned, frustrated.

"Can't it be fixed?" Cale asked. He didn't know, since the healing potion didn't fix it, but maybe an awakener's ability could, since the core is related to that.

"If it was that easy, I would've done it already!" Kayden shouted.

'Okay...' Cale became awkward, there was no reason to shout. "So.. is it broken forever...?"

Kayden's expression changed, it became more serious. "No one has ever fixed a broke core before..."

"..." 'So there's no hope.' Cale frowned, knowing this would've shaken Jiwoo if he had known. Jiwoo would've blamed himself, he would feel guilty, and sorry.

Kayden stared at Cale. "I'll find a way, so stop worrying."

'Who said I was worried?'

Kayden sighed before walking away.

"Where are you going?" Cale asked Kayden, who was heading outside.

"I'm going to make a call."

'A call...? You have a phone?'

Kayden transformed back into his human form, he looked at his hand, clenching it. 'I need to preserve my power...' Kayden went far away from the house, standing on top of a high skyscraper. He held his phone to his ear.

Ring! Ring!

"Who is this?"

"It's me."

"Kayden...?"

"Yeah."

"I thought you died. Why'd you call anyways?"

Kayden didn't reply to other person's tease, he was being serious now. "I need your help."

"My.. help? The great Kayden Break needs my help!? Do you even hear what you're saying right now?!"

"Are you going to help me or not?" Kayden asked again, he was in a rush.

"And what do I get in return?"

"I'll teach you my force control."
