****Mariah's POV****

It's been a year since the release of my first single, and now I'm doing better than ever. I've had two number one singles, my divorce was finalized about 6 months ago, and now I'm at my first Grammy Awards. I'm actually about to go on stage to perform If It's Over, a song off of my second album entitled "Emotions". I haven't finished the whole album and this isn't a single from it, it's just a song that's really close to my heart. I'm performing this song as a preview to the "Emotions" album.....this album has basically been a diary of my love life.

"....ladies and gentlemen, give it up for Mariah Carey!!" I heard, then I walked out on stage and the music started.

The audience applauded for me and everything, then the stage lights went out and I made my way backstage. As I was making my walk to my trailer outside to change, I bumped into somebody and fell down.
