Mariah Oneshots

Portrait [prologue]

"327!!! It's 327, get her!" I heard. It was peculiar how the life was leaving my body, yet I could still hear everything above me. I felt the salt water fill my lungs as my body slowly sank deeper and deeper into the dark ocean.

"She's going down, hurry!" one of the voices above me shouted. I found it strange why they wanted to save me....why save me, #327, just to take me and torture me to my death. I was in the water to save them the trouble.....they had no need to torture me to my death, if I took my own life first.

I was not always #327...once upon a time, what seemed like such a long time ago, I was Mariah. Mariah was a beautiful woman whose spirit was bright light fire....a woman who had the most beautiful children, and the most beautiful wife. Mariah was a woman proud of her right to exist, proud of her race and proud of her sexuality.....proud of her intellect, and proud of her fiery spirit. 

But Mariah was long gone.....the regime had killed Mariah years ago, and now I was #327. #327 had no intellect.....she had no joy, no spirit, no love or no pride. #327 was simply one of millions of human shells, completely void of anything inside of them. #327 was not beautiful....she was bruised, scarred and disfigured; she was repulsive to look at.

#327 had to die.....she had to die, so that Mariah could live again. And this time, Mariah would never face death....Mariah would never be killed again.

Okay, so it has been AGES but since we're all in quarantine....I figured 'hey, why not post something'.

Anyways, I know that it's just a prologue but please feel free to COMMENT and VOTE!! I will have the first full part soon.

Also, I hit MAJOR writer's block with "With You" (as I tend to do a lot because my brain loses ideas just as quickly as it generates them), so there will be nothing else to add to that particular oneshot.
