Two teenage girls, with no one to love them but each other, live their lives the only way they know how to. They both have grown up too fast and were robbed of their childhood, and they both get themselves into very unsafe situations.
Whitney, age 16, is the oldest of the two girls and she is involved in a gang. She loves to fight, steal, and gamble.....and she's willing to kill for what she wants. She isn't afraid of thugs, adults, cops, or anybody else and she doesn't follow anybody's rules.
Mariah doesn't typically fight and steal like Whitney; however, at only age 15, she has had sex with multiple people. She gets what she wants through sex; she has slept with teen guys, other teen girls, and even grown, married men.
Whitney and Mariah are both without any family; their father died back when they were 13 and 12 years old. Once their father died, they both changed from being good little girls to being completely out of control. Their mothers both gave up on them and put them out of their homes, leaving the girls to fend for themselves.
