Star hummed as he stared at his hand in deep thought, playing with something new and trying to shift the numbers in his own body to see what he could create. He had gotten the thought after seeing so many different Guardian types that tended to have the same base Code he was proud he remembered that word but could still look so different to each other due to how the numbers were just slightly different.

He was careful to not touch his core Code as he instinctively knew that was a bad idea and something inside him told him he would need to learn more about Code before he touched that but there were still so many other numbers he could still play with.

He was so glad he managed to leave his birth AU as otherwise he never would have discovered so many interesting things, chewing a fork while he clenched his left hand and watched it briefly gain claws. It was hard to keep it up but he liked the challenge, determined to try and create wings like Birdy had.

He giggled when he managed to create a tentacle from his magic, using Vega as a base but could tell he would need to practise more as when he tried to grab a cushion with it he accidently made it disintegrate instead.

"I think you are using too much Destructive magic in it, Star. Maybe try using just pure magic instead?"

Vega suggested from where he was watching from the dining room table or rather one of the random tables in the living room, greatly judging how mismatched all the furniture was in this house watching as Star took his advice as he saw the new tentacle shift to a lighter colour. He quickly realised that was also a failure as when Star tried to lift up the couch Star's strength was insane and he still didn't know what their limits were the couch did not survive this 'test' and it instead...kind of broke into two.

*CRASH*

"Better luck next time, Star. Why don't you try making feathers on your arms again. We can even go and find a bird monster to study if you want? Jammy texted to say there were quite a few in a nearby AU"

He suggested as he was kind of losing interest here with all the monsters practically comatose by now with even the odd chicken in the house acting more like a statue then a real animal, who somehow kept still even when he reached over to poke it.

It seemed animals really did have great self preservation instincts, unable to resist snapping a picture of the Nightmare's face who'd looked to be experiencing the five stages of grief all at once, sending the photo to Jammy and getting a thumbs up in response.

He giggled when he got a picture back of Sirius and a passed out Ink on a couch, it seemed to be he wasn't the only one having fun, especially when he noticed how chaotic the background was.

This was surprisingly quite fun and while Star was busy with the little task he was trying his best to read the numbers that sometimes flashed in his vision, grabbing a book from his Inventory on the subject that End had given to him that had some useful notes, as unlike Star he couldn't just twist realities arm behind its back and make it cry to do what he wanted.

He thought he was doing ok with the Code so far and while he might have accidentally deleted the wall of Nightmare's home, when he thought he was simply editing the colour of the table, he trusted Star to make sure the house didn't fall down upon them but realised this was so much harder than he thought it would be.
