Blue was so very tired of all of this, wishing that he didnt have to be the sensible one for once and quietly sighing while he dangled in a blue string like a fly in a web, his mind going down many different avenues as he wondered how his life led to this very weird outcome.
Although, on a slight positive he truly thought they were making small progress and being somewhere productive with Ink actually paying attention for once with even Dream pausing in their breakdown which were getting worryingly frequent, thinking he might need to force a therapist on them to actually help him do what this group was made for in the first place.
To protect the AU's and its inhabitants against threats!
..of course that hope had dwindled quickly when he had taken a single measly step closer to try and free Nightmare and summoned his hammer as strings were near immediately wrapped around him in seconds and he had soon been faced with a very feral looking Error that looked to be deciding the best way to rip him to pieces.
He was pretty sure the only reason he was alive was due to them getting distracted when the two tiny monsters began talking again, feeling his ego take another hit when the odd Nightmare blatantly took a picture of the three of them dangling in seeming thin air with a rather smug look.
He sometimes regretted ever agreeing to Ink's offer in the first place to join their group, greatly pitying his past self for thinking this was anything more than a babysitting job for monsters that had more brawn than intelligence. He had been pretty much forced to take everything over, still horrified when he thought back to how unorganised the Council was beforehand, the lack of note taking and even miscommunications making his SOUL cringe at the inefficiency of it all.
He had no clue how the multiverse had kept going before him and sometimes woke up in cold sweat at night imagining just how close the whole place came to collapsing due to Ink's carelessness or Dream's distraction due to their many many mental issues, that he was honestly shocked the Positivity Guardian was able to do much more then cry most days.
At this point he wasnt sure why he even bothered with any of it apart from the tiny detail that he was sadly one of the monsters living in this damn multiveres and would rather his AU stayed standing...but he had a sinking feeling that would likely change soon by what he was witnessing.
He had known near instantly that the three anomalies that had fallen into the Council room had been some sort of threat, even before the smallest ones rather bold demonstration that had the majority of the monsters scared stiff and running around like chickens with their heads cut off, with the few still able to think either running far away which left very few that actually tried to think of an actual plan on what to do next.
He was sadly in the last category that had far too few number in his opinions, stuck trying to make a plan to keep everyone from panicking, while looking into the reporting of all the destroyed AU's while also trying to think of a way to deal with the latest issue of the three strangers.
Although, now it seemed the answer to all his questions were placed into his lap without any effort on his part, shivering at seeing anotherInk walk about but he could feel something rather predatory about them, it not helping the sharp smile he was gifted when he briefly made eye contact.
"Good thing we decided to come now. Who knows what these horrible monsters could do to our children, especially our youngest who is still learning their powers"
"Im fine, End! I was just watching Vega and Star have fun. I have Brom right here next to me and im a full grown monster! I dont need to be babied! Ive been fine by myself for centuries!"
"Aww, no need to be so formal with us. We are your parents. He truly is cuter now that he has come out of his shell, isn't he, End?"
"He sure is, Origin. Trying to act all big and tough despite being so young. So adorable~"
He definitely felt his mind break a little and he was pretty sure he wasnt the only one when it wasnt the smallest monster they were talking about but in fact the fully grown Nightmare who he overheard was called 'Sirius' of all things?, unsure how the logistics of that worked but knew for sure he didnt want to touch that issue with a ten foot pole.
Vega sniggered when Sirius was once again dubbed the 'baby' of the siblings, even more amused when Star nodded seriously and seemed to see zero issue with this. He was sure there was a deeper reason for Sirius new status as 'youngest' but he wasn't sure he was ready to have his mind blown again so soon, just about getting into the rhythm of enjoying this 'family holiday' and didn't want another crazy revelation right now.
Star hummed as he played with the apple shaped SOUL in his hand, his previous anger swindling when he saw everyone here with the pathetic Guardian whimpering quietly as he sat on them. At least they knew their place now, no one allowed to be mean to his baby sibling, deciding he rather liked that title and played with the numbers to make it official.
He felt very smug that now everyone would know who Sirius was making sure the numbers for Jammy and Vega also showed they were his before happily going back to the SOUL he was still deciding whether to eat or not.
...maybe a small nibble would be fine, curious if it would taste as nice as the plates he got from that very weird place. He was starting to run low on some of the yummy food so would need to drop in again, mentally reminding himself not to eat any of the 'wards' this time.
Origin couldn't help but cooing when he felt Code being altered on his family, looking at his mate who nodded with a large grin to show everything was stable and looking at his own CHECK and nearly overdosing on yellow paint by the new addition.

It wasnt quite the title he wanted and he could practically feel the possessiveness from the two words very like End but it was an excellent start, in near tears due to how proud he was of how far Star had come. Soon he would be seen as a parent, gushing over how large his family had gotten.
He had always thought he would forever be grieving his first child but now his non existent SOUL was filled with so much love, unsure he had ever felt so happy before.

Blue: *Looking between the grown monster and the two babybones, his mind struggling to make sense of any of this*...what?

Blue: *Staring in utter horror at the utterly insane family dynamic he is witnessing* What am I witnessing right now?!
