Chapter 10- So many new experiences (SwapDream)

Paperjam is learning so much and finds a favourite food! Dream is not as calm about this revelation.

SwapDream Multiverse

Paperjam held the mug containing some odd brown liquid with confusion, having been handed it by Fluffy Destroyer ten minutes ago.

He had tried to put it down repeatedly but they kept giving it back, so now he was stuck just holding this mystery liquid. This felt like the 'toy' incident all over again and he hoped he would be giving some instruction soon, as he was growing rather bored and he didn't know Fluffy Destroyer well enough to know when he could leave.

He sighed when he was handed the mug back, blankly staring at it and hoping it would just disappear from his sight.

..what was he supposed to be doing with it?

"You are supposed to drink it, little one. It's hot chocolate. I'm sure you will like it.~"

He made a face at the news, going back to staring at the liquid warily. Taking a cautious sniff he hummed at the smell, it reminded him of the brown bar that Creator had given him before. He had liked that so took a cautious sip, his eyeshape switching to a star in his surprise.

This was good!

He slowly drank some more, intrigued to see that his magic was being replenished. This was much faster then eating, yet still got the same result in the end. Why hasn't anyone told him of this bizarre phenomenon before? He still had so much to learn and he was thrilled at how much reality he had left to explore.

He didn't see himself getting bored anytime soon!

When he finished the last of his drink, he looked up and grew curious why the numbers of the other abominations near them were changing. All of them seemed to be shifting rapidly and ending up resembling the same basic pattern.

He hummed from the bench he was sitting on, as he observed how all the abominations were also smiling in the exact same manner.

He decided he quite liked going to parks, as he found they were the best place to observe abominations, without gaining too much attention. Having Fluffy Destroyer nearby was also a great deterrent to having anyone get close, as for some odd reason other abominations tended to avoid them.

It did mean he could now observe the world easier and see even more fun things!...but he was still annoyed that they wouldn't let him play with the weird buzzing energy he felt in houses.

One day he would get the chance but until then, he would just have to occupy himself with everything else.

He perked up when he noticed the cause of the abominations odd numbers, looking at Fluffy Destroyer in fascination.

They could affect emotions ?...could he learn to do that?! That would be so cool!

Paperjam was majorly disappointed that he was apparently unable to learn that skill, as it was apparently mainly linked to 'Guardian types'. However, his disappointment was short-lived as he was given something new!

He shook his wrist, amused at the jingling noise his new silver bracelet made in response. The numbers said it was created using Fluffy Destroyers magic but it was the charms that truly entranced him. The noises and feel of it were fun, this being one item he had zero issues putting on.

He also had loads of new clothes, a tad baffled why abominations were so obsessed with them. He guessed they were nice to the touch and he was even taught how to put them in his Inventory, in case of an 'emergency'.
