Star is very happy with his new friend, he just wished everyone would stop acting so weird about it

Shattered S̸t̶a̸R̴s̷ Multiverse
"..Star. What did you do? How did you do this?! I looked away for a second!"
Star had no clue what they were on about, thinking it was rather obvious what he did. He squinted at Creator in confusion, hoping it would help him gather a clue on what answer they wanted, humming when he had no such luck.
"...Is this another trick question?"
He eventually asked, still very puzzled and wondering why Destroyer and Creator both sighed in unison at that.
At least his new friend wasn't asking such silly questions...but they were also being weirdly quiet.
He giggled as he looked up at big him, with them staring vacantly ahead, following their gaze but not spotting anything himself.
Why was everyone acting so weird..?
He continued humming to himself as he grabbed big hims hand, swinging their joint hands in childish amusement but sadly boredom was quick to set in.
Maybe he should go explore..?
He didn't know where they were but the numbers looked very fun, pouting when blue strings wrapped around his arms again before he could leave.
" We are not done here! I need you to explain! "
..why was Destroyer acting just as weird, twitching when bigger him made a weird choking sound. He looked on in confusion when they crouched to the ground, covering their face and beginning to lightly shake. He stared at them intently, their numbers a bit funny but nothing monumental or damaging, so quickly turned back to face Destroyer again.
"I'm not seeing the issue-"
" You kidnapped them! "
"No i didn't, Destroyer."
Ends jaw slacked at the bold face lie and was about to call them out on it, when he realised with growing dread, they were completely serious. He thought he had gotten used to their moods and thought process by now, but it seems he was sorely mistaken.
He winced as Paperjams breathing went funny, eyeing the surprise tag along in worry but left that to Origin to deal with, as he had something far more important to deal with right now.
" Tell me your thought process, little one. Step by step. "
He said with unending patience, feeling a headache preemptively appear when they lit up.
"Well. It's simple enough-"
No more ominous words had ever been spoken, feeling a chill go down his spine at their earnest expression.
"-i didn't want to leave them behind and I knew they weren't happy there, so I decided to make them my friend!"
... what? That didn't explain anything!
" You dragged them through a portal! "
"I know! Im so happy i'm getting better at locating destinations now. Soon i will be able to travel wherever i want!"
While he was also proud of that, and secretly terrified of how they were going to have to make doubly sure they didn't suddenly vanish they were still missing the point.
" You don't just take people! "
Star gave a blank stare of incomprehension, not seeing the issue at alll. Of course you could do that! Thats how his 'parent' had made friends with the Blue abomination in his Birth multiverse afterall.
He thought he did it better though, very proud his abomination didn't try and leave, which meant they wanted to be friends with him!
His logic was flawless and going by Creators and Destroyers amazed expressions of his explanation , he bet they agreed.
Paperjam was in far too much shock, to do much at the moment or dispute this claim, not that the babybones noticed.
——
End was drained, feeling he was talking to a brick wall. He might actually prefer talking to one, as at least that wouldn't argue with him or blatantly tune him out, sighing when Star began playing with their magic when he tried to talk to them.
Star was very busy trying to elongate his strings, having had a fun idea from an abomination he met a while ago. He abruptly let go of his strings and cupped his hands together, giggling as he formed a tiny knife.
It might have turned into ink a second later but that was progress! His Creations skills were improving, smiling as his bigger self finally looked up from where they were previously curled up in a ball. They looked much better after their little nap, giggling as he showed off his new skill.
"Why..?"
"Why what?"
He asked puzzled, eyeshape switching to a star when he saw big him make a small bouncy ball with ease. They so had to teach him that, Creator still not having gotten to those sort of lessons yet.
"Why did you bring me? I'm an abomination , a mistake. Why would you want me?"
Paperjam spat out, hurt dripping from his tone as he repeated what Error had repeatedly said to him. The tiny babybones made little sense to him, watching as they grabbed his hand and began examining it, clearly trying to copy what he just did. It made him smile despite the odd situation he was now in, amused how easily they could be impressed by such a simple trick.
"..what's wrong with being an abomination?"
Star asked honestly, as everyone was practically an abomination in his view. Even he was one, still clueless why Paperjam flinched whenever he was called that in the last multiverse but trying his best not to call them that out loud at leas t.
He wanted his new friend to like him and didn't like the way their numbers wobbled whenever they heard that word. Fluffy Destroyer had also given some useful tips for making friends as well, so he had plenty of knowledge to help him.
This was going to be so easy!
His eyeshape switched back to a star when the numbers of the multiverse nudged him, as if trying to gain his attention. How curious, he wondered what he would find next. Maybe he would gain another friend!
Paperjam was a tad jealous at how carefree they sounded, wanting to blow up in anger but stopped himself just in time, knowing they weren't as naive as they first appeared.
The reminder of what they had shown him last time still weighed heavily on his mind, the omniverse being far scarier than he thought, if he thought his so-called 'childhood' was much better than Stars.
"I guess you are right.."
He said in a soft voice, his smile shaky as they obliviously told him all the cool things they could do now they were 'friends', his worry still not dissipating.
Perhaps he should share what he learned with the kids parents...but the fact they looked so alike to his own made him wary. He would give it time, hoping nothing bad happened for keeping a secret for a bit longer.
...wait. Where did Star go?!
